Well he is the most naturally skilled with his weapon and so would probably be easy to train as he is great at mastering skills like chucks and skating
Also if you think about marketing wise, their colors Blue means trust/authority, red means action/energy, orange means optimistic/friendliness, and purple means creativity/individuality Their colors are practically their marketing campaign
Donny's the most creative one in the group. He creates every machine they use. He's given the staff, because it's the most simple weapon, cause Donny likes complicated and advanced things, he needs to learn simplicity aswell.
Agreed both to the explanation and the other reply. The way Donny’s reason is presented in the video was super weak compared to the others but this makes it click
Love that explanation ❤ gave me more details also to add if you use the staff correctly it will boost ur strength thats also the reason cs of him not being as strong as he could be. (which he is mentally or emotionally or verbally strong js not physically) to me tho donny is my fav
Don’t forget Michelangelo was the last ronin and since he was all the turtles combined he was also the smart one and Venus was the smart one in Fantasy and old timey knowledge #TMNT
That makes so much sense. But Mikey’s not dumb though. He’s just a slacker, and immature And unfocused. He’s also the most naturally gifted of the 4 turtles. It actually comes easier to him than it does his brothers
Raphael might be angry but he doesn't wanna outright kill he's just a little brutal at times the only universe where he flat out wanna kill is the mirage universe and last ronin
In the original comic he was brutal as well I just learned. Apparently he wasn’t always just hot headed and had an attitude. He genuinely enjoyed killing at one point💀
Mikey is not actually the dumb one all he was, was funny and always acted silly but in the song “shell shocked” you can tell it only talks about Mickey that is because his brothers died and he was forced to become serious and not the same funny Mikey he always was especially because splinter died he had to teach himself more about focus and not messing around anymore Edit: I’ve been watching Ninja turtles like when I turned one so I cried when I figured that out Leo was my favorite
@@Hardylivesforever mhm hes the youngest one 👍 hes just pretty much a party bro who makes mistakes but hes not dumb theres times where you can see hes smart
Wanting to kill and needing to kill are two separate things. Leo has never displayed unwarranted killping because he understands the weight of leadership and because he wants to be the best he can for his family.
Tbh, Shredder needed to be gone, So i don’t really blame Leo for killing Shredder, and he didn’t really have a choice tbh, Shredder was the one trying to literally kill them
“Michelangelo is the dumb one” Woah woah woah woah.. EXCUSE ME!? He’s a teenager, he ain’t dumb just cuz he acts like a teenager. As Mikey is my favorite one out of all of them, I take this very harshly. Good day to you sir! I said good DAY!!
He is my favorite as well. It's funny they say Leonardo is the one who has katanas because he doesn't like to kill, yet nunchucks are probably the most difficult weapon to find in any local stores out of all the weapons. Real nunchucks I mean. I have never seen anyone that owned a pair in real life, yet I've seen real katanas, real sai, real bo, but not real nunchucks. I also heard they are illegal to own.
Another TMNT theory I found out is their colored bandannas that describe their personality. Blue: It describes cautious, conservative and sensitive to the needs of other, just like Leonardo. Purple: It describes an artistic and unique individual, who is often very intuitive and deeply interested in spirituality, just like Donatello. Red: It describes bold, boisterous, and full of energy, just like Raphael. Orange: It describes witty, spontaneous, generous, optimistic, eager and bold, just like Michelangelo.
The bow is for defensive more than Raphael’s , Michael isn’t dumb he is childlike to take away from the honest heart, Donatellois the most scientific, Leo got the sword because he earned it with patience as the one with most gets to wield it
I don't really associate raph as wanting to kill. The most recurring trait he showed for me is his passion for those he cares about, which often misplaced makes him hotgeaded and out of control. I've seen this in the 80s movies, the 3d movie and a hint in the newer ones.
Leave Mikey alone. He's not dumb. He just lay back type turtle that likes to enjoy live. Mikey pretty smart and in the comic he the last ninja turtles and become ronin. Not only that in series, Mikey outlive all his brother's and become a master with his new students. He teach his students the way of Mikey.
Well in the original comics they were killers. Donnie only had a thing with machines after the first issue wich was ment to be a stand alone comic and the shows had to follow the way the comic versions had there weapons.
And Donnie’s weapon isn’t just a stick it’s a bo staff it’s a very good weapon for range and we see Donnie add stuff to his stick to make it tech themed
In the turtle games, snes, nes and arcade games. Michaelangelo was always the popular character to be chosen as the player character. In all the games he was always the strongest for some reason.
Okay this is how I think the old should go I think rath you have the swords Leo should have the signs Mike you should have the bow staff and Donatello should have the nunchucks
Mikey turns dark and non clumsy and i Has donnys smartness and raphs killing and its like if all the turtles powers were switched up and then dies at the end
I bet Mikey realized that he could out shine his brothers, but said it was dumb luck or just a goof. He liked their dynamic and didn't care to change it.
I also heard that Leonardo is given two swords which are both two-handed swords so that he can learn the burdens of leadership in that you have to take care of your group as well as the mission at hand.
Leonardo was my favorite Turtle while most kids liked Michelangelo. While Raphael was the most skillful Martial Artist, Leonardo had more patience and compassion. Donatello was in a way the least skilled, with the length of his Bo he could hold of and beat Leonardo.
The fact he called Mikey dumb blows my mind. Mikey is the “drunken” style fighter, the one turtle who survived and learned how to master each of his brothers weapons.
They Did Touch About Donnie's Bow Staff In The 2013 Series On Nick! Also, They Banned Mikey's Weapon In The UK Back In The Late-80's/Early 90's Cartoon Because They Were Feared As Being Dangerously Influential To The Young Public When Ironically, The "Turtle Shot" Weapon They Replaced Them With Would Be More Dangerous Due To The Fact It Had More Weaponry Like A Grappling Hook At The End Of It! And Also Counting The Time In Fast Forward When Mikey Supersized His Weapon To Be A Bio-Mech Suit ("If You Can Think It, You Can Make It!)")
I feel like sais being referred to as not being met for killing it's a bit of an overstatement. Yes, they're meant for defense, but... they're point for a reason lol
On the Leonardo one, I thought it was the opposite. I thought it would be that Leonardo wants to kill his enemies and anyone that threatens his people just to save them, but Splinter teaching Leo that he needs to show some restraint so that he doesn't go crazy. Sort of like with Batman and his "no-kill" rule thing. Which is why Leonardo tends to be more compassionate and caring due to the lesson he had to learn. Although now that I'm thinking about it, I guess what I said could apply more to Raphael especially give the explanation you guys gave about patience.
In the original mirage comics, raph used to kill all of the time. He loved killing but all of his brothers killed people out of duty because they were assassins trained by splinter to kill the shredder. Also Donnie has the best and deadliest weapon
What’s funny is Mikey isn’t dumb at all. I hate when people say that. He’s just goofy and immature, there’s a big difference. He’s proven many times he’s highly intelligent and the most naturally skilled in the group
Well in the original show I highly doubt raph will want to just kill he was not violent just rude and I don't think leo would kill. And in the 2012 show splinter gave them the weapons and explained why and not for those reasons.( lone rat and cubs) 2003 nothing really disproves it. But in rise they have difrent weapons. Also this would not make sense in the mirage comics.
