I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed this game better then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game, which I liked as well. The graphics were much better in the second game.
The very first TMNT game came in 1989 on the NES, appropriately titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Interestingly enough, Konami opted for a very different style of game to experiment with to set it apart from the action platformer genre the licensed games often fell under, and tried to make use of an essential part of the TMNT‘s allure, teamwork. All the turtles are at your disposal at any given time, though the game itself is strictly for one player only. As a work around to avoid Nintendo’s strict policy of the number of released titles per company over a fiscal year, the game was released under Konami’s Ultra Games banner.
Why don't that make these games any more I had this game when it first come out anyone ever had the speed controller it was the best and jumbo controller with joystick wish we could go back to when it was not all this b.s kids would have more morals than today 😁🎮 but I only played on Rainey days rideing dirtbikes or n the woods otherwise what we don't have any more
So I just played this Game as my 1st all time 4K TV Video Game... You know what I see here? The difference in the Picture Quality from the NES Classic & the NES Original, on a 4K TV are not all that different, ~_~ My 4K TV smoothed most of the Image out for me, & you can see a lot of the same colors in the HD Version as you do on the Original Version over 4K... Almost all the Sprites are smoothed out, & some Shadows were fixed in the Original... There are a few differences, though... the NES HD Edition, Splinter in the Intro Video Looks better, because his outfit is more brownish, & original, its just a black blurr on screen, like it's blended in with the Darkness, or shadowings, & I dunno, that is about all that is different between the two... Gameplay looks exactly the same for both... I guess this just proves that Upgrading to the NES Classic or Mini, was not really a big improvement, & not really worth the buy, lOl... 30 Games? They don't look HD at all, it would of been better to just remake them, no? lOl...
