Meat Loaf's songwriter, Jim Steinman, actually delayed the release of this album because he was insistent on finishing this song. This song was inspired by Meat Loaf and Jim's real-life experiences. And the video was directed by Michael Bay, who directed the films "Transformers", "Bad Boys", "Pearl Harbor", and many others.
