“Nobody was looking for the girls, except my family"
On December 29th 1999, as high schooler Ashley Freeman turns 16, she invites her best friend Lauria Bible for a fun sleepover, and what would happen to the entire family during that night, would become a 20 year mystery, involving the cartel, local rings, and even the entire police department as a suspect, a mystery that only Lauria's parents would be able to solve: where are the missing girls?

It should be made a law all around the world that if the murderer doesn't tell where the body is by the time they have served their sentence then they should remain in prison until they do. For every year they don't say where the body is, a further year should be added to their sentence..

I agree, 100% just like when there are fines or fees for all kinds of legal issues. If the courts can compel someone in prison to give restitution on money matters they can make them give up the location of the person they killed.

The girls would have been found alive if Butter would have taken that insurance card seriously. All 3 of those men were pure evil,just disgusting. If it wouldn't have been for that family being so diligent and refusing to let this case be swept under the rug then those girls never would have gotten any justice at all. @exposingthetruth3821
@exposingthetruth3821 5 месяцев назад
Polygraph tests are a joke. They do have some scientific use, obviously. But they are used as a tool to ruin lives way more than they are used for anything else. A good example of this... is after a week of asking you questions about a subject- they ask you in a Polygraph 'Have you ever thought about ______'??? You will fail this question 100 percent of the time because you just spend a week listening to this very subject. So either response your body gives the machine the result they want. The same works backward when they want to prove innocent, like in the case with the cops here. It all depends on the situation, people involved and how questions are phrased.

It was total bullshit. Police know that lie detectors are extremely unreliable. They only use them to scare suspects. They'll ask the suspect take the test and then tell the suspect they failed the test -- no matter what the real result was. They're hoping the suspect will believe the fake 'result' and confess. In this case, the police did the opposite: they had sheriffs take the test, then told everyone they "passed", hoping the public will fall for it.

I grew up there in Craig county. I waited on them at Pizza Hut the night they disappeared. The cops never even asked me questions. Also I think the Craig county sherrifs has something to do with it and no one will ever change my mind. I also think the guy in jail is a patsy. Busick. The guy isn’t even mentally adept. He has no memory of admitting to it. He was offered money and a release for information to their bodies and he had nothing. The supposed mastermind. And conveniently the other 2 are dead. Meth was rampant back then and now It’s fentanyl but people would do anything for some cash. Perhaps some methed out person or persons that got caught for some drug offense was offered money and no arrest to kill the Freemans. Then the meth heads went too far and took the girls too. Just a theory. I mean I have no idea. I just know with the pending case with the Freemans and Craig county sheriffs about the death of the murder of their son seems a little too convenient. And just personal interactions and other people I know, know how corrupt they were.

I am absolutely horrified at the complete lack of competency of the sheriff's and that Nutter man. Absolutely disgusting. It's staggering how they handled ecery single thing in this case. Those poor girls could of possibly been found if they had done a proper investigation and followed every lead. Hearing that Nutter was annoyed with it being released to press and calls started coming in is unfathomable. My heart truly hurts for all family and friends left to navigate through their lives after losing those 2 girls.

To have to seek out evidence to find your missing child is hard enough, let alone to have to do it while the police are being unhelpful is just unbearable. What those poor parents went through is enough to break a parent. Not to mention those horrid photos of their precious child circulating for people to get their thrills from 💔 My heart couldnt take it if that happened to my daughter 😢

This happened a couple towns over from me, my dad was from there and spent several years dwelling on this case due to the circumstances. That local law enforcement has always sucked horribly, it doesn’t surprise me or anyone I know, that they didn’t solve the case. So much neglect and shady shit from that sheriffs department. I’ve always heard from locals and family members that they were dumped in an old mine but nobody has ever found a trace of them. I was also hearing for a bit that they were dumped in septic tank and it was buried. Nothing I’ve ever heard has brought answers though.

Any chance you could do the case about a girl from my hometown and has never been found? It’s a pretty crazy story and just recently her ex was arrested for murder but her body still has yet to be found. This happened in Franklin county Va in 2012. Her name is Heather Hodges. She was a good person and a friend and would love to have her story out there and hopefully one day her and her family can get some peace and she can be found 😞

This is truly a parent's worst nightmare. Worse even then a child being dead, because you never know for sure what's happened to them. If they're dead or alive, if they're being hurt, what's happening to them. I don't know if I'd be strong enough to keep living. It seems like the worst possible torment.

I have two questions: 1. Why does the US consider and grant early release for violent offenders? Surely, the dude busted for pot and is in for life would be a better candidate. 2. Why wasn't being able to locate the bodies a condition of the plea agreement?? I know sometimes prosecutors do that. Why in the hell not for this one? That Judge should be yanked from the bench to think that asshole had any shred of truth coming out of his mouth. (Especially since so many witnesses came forward and shared the same story of what happened to the girls!) If someone works in the law and/or knows I would sincerely be grateful to you for your time!

The sheriff’s department was after the family and didn’t want to be sued. The sheriff and his deputies probably thought that the killers did their dirty work for them.
