This hypnosis really worked for me, when I first tried it, but the jaw clenching came back when I stopped after about a month. So I kept trying again, but not consistently. I have been teeth clenching and tongue thrusting again, constantly for the last year! However, over the last few weeks, because I have suffered from dizziness, I have made a conscious effort to make this hypnosis work again for me and it really has stopped totally again!! It really is miraculous! I only needed to listen for about a week and I have been totally free of this habit for almost 3 weeks! I still can’t quite believe how well it works for me. I have learnt a few things that worked for me better this second time, which may be useful to others 1. I remained awake for the hypnosis ( the no wake up version did not work for me) 2. I listened first thing in the morning before I did anything else.( sometimes needed the loo😂, )but got straight back into bed again to listen! 3. I found using head phones better 4. I needed the volume up , not too loud, but definitely not soft. 5. I make a conscious effort to listen to every single word and if my mind wanders, to get straight back to it. 6. I gave it a few days and then noticed that I was taking notice whenever I was about to start this habit again. After another few days, I had stopped completely! 7. After stopping, the first week, I found was quite uncomfortable in my jaw area as I have to get used to a new sensation in letting the right side jaw relax. It was not a pleasant sensation, but it passes and now it feels amazing once again to be free of this habit! Thank you so much once again for this amazing hypnosis! It has certainly worked for me!! Xx🙏❤️

Although I regularly practice yoga, relaxation and meditation, I constantly jaw clench and tongue thrust to the right side of my teeth, during daytime activities. I have been doing this constantly for almost 40 years!! Over that period of time, from photos, i can see that it has changed the shape of my face and given me many headaches and sore tongue. I have been to my dentist and doctors over the years, who just told me to stop doing it. I came across your video last night. I listened to it, but kept falling to sleep, but I’ve listened to it properly this morning as I’ve woken up. I really feel it may help me. It is just the right length and your voice is really nice to listen to. I will listen to it every day now and let you know how I get on. Many thanks.

@@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist Hi. This really, really works!!!! I have been listening to this video for 4 nights and 4 mornings now. This is truly miraculous!! Miracle 1. The first couple of days I found myself being aware of when I was doing it and could actually make myself stop!!! Miracle 2. The last 2 days, I am definitely aware that both my right side of my jaw and tongue are relaxed!! I am NOT doing it at all!!!! I am getting used to this new feeling in my jaw. As it is normally constantly biting, it feels strange for it to be still and I am starting to find the comfort in it now, rather than thinking that I found comfort in the jaw clenching. I have been trying for most of my life to stop doing this and failed after a few minutes. I am going to continue listening every night and every morning as I do not want to revert back. I don’t know where to begin to thank you! 🙏😀

@@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! So, I am almost on my second week. I still listen every evening to go to sleep and listen every morning as I wake up. I still can not believe, that my tongue and jaw are now relaxed and the habit has been broken. It’s like magic. Not only did it happen almost overnight, but in such a pleasant way too!! I love starting my day listening to your audio. I have come across some events this last week that would have normally caused me to constant jaw clench and I now do not do it at all. I can’t even bring myself to just try it one more time, to see what it used to be like!! 🤣. Sometimes my mind drifts and I don’t fully listen. But other times, when I pay more attention and listen carefully, I am really in the lift!!! I have never had hypnotherapy before. You have made such a huge, positive difference to my life. HI Suzanne.. the past 8 years ive had a tendensy to grind my tongue on my teeth, and touch them with my fingers as well, since it had this weird satisfaction, i guess like biting nails. ive been to 18 different dentist, tried out a million different hypnosises and yours helped the most. The problem is that I stop doing it for a week or so, but the second i get stressed or go crazy with overthinking I start doing it again. My enamel is completely messed up, and i really need some spiritual guidance on what to do... I will test myself by listening to this video at least 2 times a day, to see if it changes anything.I loved my teeth, but now theyre almost non existent.(or at least thats what it feels like) I also notices the "feeling" comes from me messing up my tongue and not from my teeth, but i keep on doing it ;(
@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist
@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist 2 года назад
Hi :) You need to deal with the trigger. You need to deal with the stress and over thinking. What is it that triggers that? If you can heal that. If you can understand what you are holding emotionally, that is this "trigger" then you can let it go. That will then allow you to stop for longer than a week , so that you have the time you need to change what has become habitual. Your subconscious mind makes things automatic/habit either by an emotional experience or repetition. So when we heal the trigger we take care of the emotional, when we do the repetition we take care of the habit or habitual way of being. It is easiest if you create a new response in the place the clenching was. like training your jaw to relax... but that takes repetition to become automatic. I hope this makes sense :) As well, it is important to be consistent. Commit to listen every day, just once is fine, but do it long enough for it to truly stick. I hope this helps :) Please keep me undated on how it goes.

I've tried this video about 6 times and listened to it all the way through. I've also tried 3 other hypnotists for grinding my teeth, but not sure why it's not working for me. A few years ago, I had an actual in-person session with a hypnotist and I really wanted it to work. I even forced myself to try and fall into a trance but it didn't work. I'm listening to every instruction, word for word, following along each step, all the way to the end. I find that my mind wanders off into different tangential thoughts with each suggestion, and I shift around more than normal. What am I doing wrong?

Hi there :) Sorry to hear this is not working for you. The only thing I can say is not to try, trying gets in the way. But, I realize that may not be it either. Hi Suzanne! May I please ask if this would work for my daughter who is 10 years old and has an 'open bite' due to tongue thrusting. I ask firstly because of her age and secondly because she has trouble relaxing her tongue into a resting position. I wonder that if this hypnotherapy session works for her she may not know how to breathe with a relaxed tongue. Sorry for the silly question, but I just want to make sure that it's safe for her. Thanks!
@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist
@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist 2 года назад
I think it should be ok. She should listen to how her Dr instructed her to place her tongue. I know that when our tongue is rested the tip usually rests on the top of the mouth and the rest of our tongue rests in the base of our mouth. I do not fully say that in this session, I simply say to let your tongue rest and relax. So just tell her to place her tongue were she has been instructed too, even if I do not say specifically what she was told. Hope this makes sense lol.

@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist 3 года назад
Hi Michelle, its all about letting go. And sometimes, we have trained our mind to be busy (multitasking) and we need to train our mind to focus on one thing and let go of the others. This takes practice. I would recommend listening to this one, with simply the intension of letting go into the feeling ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DDkyQrUnuZQ.html. We will never get to a place where our mind is blank with no thoughts, but we can train it to focus on one thing. Repetition is important, especially with this one, as you are re-training your mind/body. I hope this helps :)
