TEF 6686 with final Firmware V2.00 receiving Spain via tropo in UK with full RDS & antenna indoors

I sometimes get asked if the latest firmware version I installed on my TEF 6686 is as sensitive as the previous version, & it seems that it stays the same regardless. Here I am receiving Spain via enhanced tropo & with full RDS, distance from my location is about 600 miles / 1000 km. If you are having any doubts about installing this firmware, don't & install now.
Received in the south of the UK with a TEF 6686 & rabbit ears antenna indoors on 17th December 2023.

There was a great tropo propagation around the Bay of biscay! I've received Spain via tropo for the first time, beating my personal tropo record.

Excellent, many congrats. It was the best tropo from Spain I have ever received, it even reached the north of England.

Thank you very much. Yes, both the area of Spain I was receiving & where I live in the UK are costal areas. So the two combined give a winning result.
