How much steam is it normal for this to produce coming out of the top? I tried using this for the first time today and I filled it up to the max point indicated inside. It almost immediately started to make the noise of the water reaching boiling and then it made enormous amounts of steam- which seemed rather concerning. Obviously steam has to release but the sheer amount of steam had me worrying this may not be normal and that there could be a risk of explosion, so I turned it off, just in case. Is this really normal?
If I wish to keep the soup warm after making it, should I first press Stop (to turn off) and then press 'Keep Warm'? This Soup Maker was a gift, but I don't seem to have received the manual for it.
It switches into keep warm Modus after the program has finished, for 40 minutes! So don’t stop the program, just take some soup out and put the lid back on.. 😊
The jug still does drip a little, but thats a combination of design and how thick the soup is once made. The handle is very balanced though, we got an elderly member of the family one of these and they can use it safely and with ease.
RAW chicken is best to be used in chunky mode! I do cut my meat into pieces and put vegetables in, liquid and seasoning as required. Best chicken soup I ever made in this short time 😊
@@randomlyreviewed6179 thank you sooooo very much for the answer. A life saver, really. I couldn't find this info anywhere (forums and manuals). Thanks once again.
@@JayaLakshmi-co6xc no, I tried, I disassembled the whole thing, the plastic piece also acts as the support for the sensor and it's all glued together. You could remove the whole sensor, but no guarantee that the device would work without it. Furthermore there would be a hole direct to the electronic board, once you remove the sensor the board is just exposed and any splash there would cause a short circuit. It's just a crap design.
