@RainbowMarshmallow13 i'm a big fan, i've seen that video... I'm really looking forward to seeing them with paramor this fall. I'm 6'2" shaved head, inked up punk rawker and when people get in my car and like "so jealous" or "love type thing" comes on my radio they're confused at first... that's why i love music... by all accounts i shouldn't have ANYTHING in common with TnS, but they're my favorite artists ever cause I relate to their songs in a meaningful way
It's on an indie cd called Spiders From Venus - female artists doing Bowie songs. Buy the cd - all the artists get royalties and the guy who made it didn't make a profit either.
@rickfocks I'm an identical twin and were short as well....twins are "statisticly" born smaller than the average child...so it makes sense that theyre short. And especialy in Tegans case because she said she was about 3 pounds when she was born, and sara was 4 something.
Sara covered Sweetness follows for a tribute album to Automatic for the people called Drive XV (stereogum originated the project, i don't think it's still available on the site but it's quite easy to find if you take the time to look for it. Oh and she worked with kaki King for the cover
The noise I made when I found out my favorite musical artists covered a few of my much loved musical artists' songs was a little pitiful, I have to admit. Bowie AND Prince AND R.E.M. AND Flock of Seagulls. I mean really..
@woodguitar2233 that makes sense biologically. I'm sure it'd be extremely difficult for a mother to develop and deliver twins at 8+ pounds each... I've often thought it'd be nice to have a twin and be THAT close to someone...
+mysterymac38 Disagree. It´s easy to learn the beginning, but it´s difficult to play it perfect without making small mistakes. I agree that it sounds different. They strum the whole d chord after the riff, different from the Original. But I can´t say it´s bad.
