The Tehri lake dam has created a water reservoir in the Tehri town and these huts are floating over the water. The water is beautiful sea green color and is surrounded by the mountains. The views at these tehri floating huts are unmissable and one of the best in Uttarakhand.
We travelled to Mussoorie for and then planned 1 day in Tehri Floating Huts and were surprised to how not many people still not know about this place in Uttarakhand.
It can be a prefect weekend getaway and one of the best offbeat location of Uttarakhand unlike the commercial Nainital, Mussoorie, Dehradun etc.
