Tejano music brings my body alive and gets me moving. My feet react right away and start dancing around my house. You just can't sit still. Tejano puts me instantly in a good mood and I can face the day. Even my doctor appointment I have today won't put a damper on my mood. My whole body wakes up and gets me going. I love Tejano, specially when lots of accordion is being played. Reminds my of my homeland Germany. I miss it daily. But listening to these kind of music makes me feel a lot better. It's awesome music and those guys are all pretty good looking. My first love in music is country western, specially the classic kind. Don't like the new style at all. I never heard C/W music in Germany. My husband introduced me to it. I didn't speak English when I came here, but the first artist I heard singing here was George Jones. I was instantly in love with C/W. He will always be my favorite. When I understood the words to He stopped loving her today, my tears kept rolling down my face. Unfortunately most of the best are gone now but not forgotten. George Strait and Allen Jackson refused to sing the new style. The stayed true to their roots. Give me the classic C/W music and Tejano. They make me the happiest to listen too. Oh and I almost forgot, play me some sexy Saxophone and I'm a goner. But it has to be the slow sexy one. C/W music without steel guitar and some good old fiddle sounds is mostly missing now and I won't listening to it without them in it. The moaning of the steel guitar and the wonderful sound of the fiddle to me is the best music I love hearing.
