Tekken 1 Character Select Animation HD + Bosses Select Screen!

Tekken 1 came out all the way back in 1994 on the System 11 arcade board, Tekken being the first game to take be released on this Playstation based Arcade system by Namco.
Pre-rendered Computer Graphics (CG) was quite a new thing at the time, and not many games had shown this type of quality in a game. As they are now become old and creepy like most old things. I wanted to recreate this video from a previous video I made for the Tekken 1 Character select animations with over 100K views!

Anyways, I wanted this to be the best experience of this rare piece of Tekken animations as these character select portraits were dropped for the Playstation home release.
Anyway, sit back and enjoy all the character creepy animations in Full HD with a little extra bonus for you at the end!
NOTE: The Bosses character select screen on the end was created by me, as a visual of how it could have looked if they were displayed.

The arcade version still has the full voice clip hidden in the game's ROM. The announcer says "Law the Dragon!", but it seems like it's the game itself that's programmed to cut him off right after saying "Law-!"

Marshall Law In Tekken used to be called Law The Dragon but, they had to cut The Dragon part due to it being copyrighted from Bruce Lee’s Movie Enter The Dragon.

Originally Tekken wasn't called Tekken. It was supposed to be called "Rave War" But then they went with Iron Fist so Tekken was the name before it was released. But the rave war name was add in Law's move set

Great question. If you play through arcade mode and lose against the sub-bosses, then you get thrown back to the character select screen where they will show. But the images on the end are just something I created in order to show how it would had looked like if they where displayed!

@@vista1456786 yes these images on the end are from the game but there is not such character selection screen in the game, I created this. The devil kazuya is from the only devil kazuya image that you can find of him in a full body pose on Google :)

You know, it might me some kind of a phenomenon that many T1 players may have, but... I grew up with this game, and only recently I have learned that these models and animations have become a meme of sorts. I mean... I never found it creepy, possibly the game's aesthetics grew on me over the years during my early childhood. It just is what it is, and I personally think that for a 1994 game, the actual game's graphics are okay. Meanwhile people say that these faces are a nightmare fuel, or they straight up say they are hilarious. Kazuya's smirk from his ending has become a reaction image due to the poor graphics quality apparently... But I just can't see it. I don't get it. It just looks like an early 3D game. I never experienced anything like uncanny valley with this and I'm starting to think that all these comments are just an exaggeration. It really doesn't look all that bad.
