You're forgetting the N64, that was fully 3D before Playstation but I think I know what you mean. You mean more human faces going 3D, Nintendo had cartoony graphics and games nothing was really "life like", Playstation games had human-like faces and bodies that made it looks like "WOW, I am really playing something revolutionary here". Then you look at that little box infront of your TV screen and realize it's all coming from inside there. Yup, I know exactly what you mean man, you only get that feeling once, shame people now days won't experience the technological revolution in video game history like we did.
Holy shit, i thought the 3rd intro was a crazy dream i had when i was a kid, where the characters were all switched up so you get ludicrous situations such as Kuma as Hwoarang and Dr B as Yoshimitsu. Glad to see it was real all along.
lol, i saw that from the start and was part of the reason why I loved Tekken so much, costumes added a lot to their character and told you a bit of what kind of people they were. Jin has these cool biker looks, same with Hwoarang and Paul, Lei has his cop clothing, King 2 has more workout clothing and shows he's different from the more respected looking king 1, etc. Shame they stopped these though as some of the alternate designs were cool.

Rekkadex agreed. T3 had a more "edgy" look to it than T2. It looked very similar, but SO much more badass! The 2P costumes exuded a more serious, cool and confident look that made it stand out. Just to add: I love Eddy's beach clothes, Julia's sexy bookworm clothes and Bryan's shirtless snakeskin pants getup. He wore less, and it made him appear more intimidating.
I remember being like 4-5 years old, my mom used to work at a bar and I would have to stay there because she didn’t have a babysitter and there was a Tekken 3 arcade game but most times I didn’t have money to play so I would just sit there and watch the intro screens over and over all night. The nostalgic feeling is so intense, takes me 20 years back
0:45 - 0:55! One of my favorite parts. It’s almost like Law and Lei are trying to fight, but they aren’t actually fighting! Reminds me of that one scene in SpongeBob when he and Patrick are fighting, but they’re punching thin air. 😂
I cannot tell you how many times I would just go to the arcade and watch this intro over and over again. The music beats and the animations match each other perfectly and always got me so hyped up! The new Tekken games are still good but this one will always be special to me.

I have never know of any legitimate taekwondo practitioner who has been taught to call them katas, or in fact ever use any Japanese terms in the context of taekwando, at all, ever.
I loved this music to Tekken 3 I still have this on PS1 since I was 7 years old sure does brings back memories looking back at the intro this music gets my adrenaline, energy, and motivation pumped and highly hyped up my favorites are: Law, Eddy, Jin, Hworang, Lei Wulong, Yoshimistsu, King, Xiayou, Bryan, and Paul. One of the best Tekken games ever along with Tekken tag, 4, 5, 6, and tag tournament 2 I wish I had Tekken 7 but I don't have a PS4, or Xbox but I loved the intro to this.
For a 1997 game, Tekken 3's Graphics really push the PlayStation's graphical limits in 1998 & what's crazy is that the character models still hold up to this day.
Loved this Tekken 3 was well ahead of its time I remember Round Table 🍕 used to have Taken 3 available to play. I would be in there for hours and this would always pop up on the big video game machines. Tekken 3=🔥🔥🔥
