It was a Tekken honour and privilege to work with one of my favourite and best combo makers around today. We did an awesome job with the combos together but you did an awesome job making the vid, congrats man!!!! Let's do this ahain in the next installment!! Liked and Favoured brother :D
Holy crap this is awesome. This one i can honestly say is better than the first (though that one was still good!) , really good stuff from the both of you. The first combo ALREADY got me interested. :D
@ElluzeoniX Agree in a way. Longer combos and juicy wall combos are easier in T6. In it's own phisycs, Tekken 5 had an easy combo system aswell. For example, Marduk's d/f+3,1 ; 2 ; d/f+3,1 ; f+2,1 combo was over a half-life combos, and it was really easy to pull out. Thank you for commenting : )
Very good combos!! hehe.. ;-) could you include some of the button presses? i cant seem to follow the other combos with cancels included in between? thanks!
Good stuff. Just one question tho, how do you do that @ 3:12? You've done it more than once in this vid and i can't tell what you did. You used f~f-2 and then moved to the opposite side as if going into silent entry. Yet immeadeately after that you attacked with a normal move which should be impossible, unless you canceled silent entry? Im really killing myself trying to figure it out >.
@BiteBug There is only so much a character can do without walls before it becoming repetitive. For me and others I'm sure, wall to wall combos which include floor/wall break are heaps more flashier and bring out the wow factor. As for Lars, not so much he can do without walls before looking stale.
I am desperate for Vanquisher rank with Lars. I am Vindicator... two away. I gotta start using combos similar to these to help me. Nice job GuC11. Thumbs up + favourite
Finally some action! I mean, Lars seems to be a good character in Tekken 6 (which i will get tomorrow) and only that he is from Sweden :D No question what character i will go for :)
Great video now theres no reason 4 me 2 make a lars combo video. great video and really good ideas. thumbs up and fav. already sub :) and again good job
HEllo ha jól tudom hrap3-ad van..ha igen megtudod írni, hogy hol vetted? Szükségem lenne nekem is egyre csak nem tudom honnan. Amazonon is néztem esetleg onnan tudnám. Szóval ha ráérsz légyszi irj hol tudnék venni egyet.
@BiteBug One more thing, doing wall to wall, ground + floor breaks takes heaps more skill than doing non wall combos, takes precision in angles, proper positioning, timing and execution, what kind of carry, where to bound, will it hit the wall at the proper angle etc etc. Whereas with non wall, what obstacles are there besides ssr/ssl and/or is the opponent BT. Pfft, wall combos any day of the week.
guc u are the best player in using lars,damn i really want to see TheMainMan vs guc11.....let me introduce myself...I am poseidon i been playing tekken 5 and 6 for 2 years and i think i want to try u...my fav character is king and lars...
@ElluzeoniX Combos take pretty much the same amount of health as they always have; they're just longer in T6 which really just means there's a higher index for failure. I honestly found the juggles/setups/okizeme (Just the overall mechanics in general, really) in T5 far easier to get the hang of... Not to mention T5 was far less balanced (What with some characters having the privilege of 8 frame jabs whereas others did not, just as a fucked up example). Jus' sayin' ^^;
I don't think wall to wall combos are that hard at all in T6. Finding the correct angle is not a skill as far as execution. You either find the correct angle or you don't. Usually in wall to wall combos the execution of the sequence of attacks is the least of your concern.
these combos are just for show, they either don't ever work unless you're in a perfect setting, or there are other, more effective, easier, and more damaging combos which is pretty much the whole point for a combo, delivering the most amount of damage in a juggle or a launcher
