The Main Man sells himself short, he truly represents the Mishima's and does a great job of doing it. Much to my dismay I was only recently able to get EWGF's and with Heihachi only. I wish I could use Kazuya as well but My main was and still is Lee. practically a different style of play..
Pay attention to the end of the second match. He whiffed df1 on purpose. TMM tried punishing it with f3 but he backdashed and made him eat a jab string.
That doesn't mean the Mishimas are underpowered. When mastered, they can easily be able to cause more hostility and hesitation to a lot of opponents. Maybe the word you are looking for is that they take "true skill" to cause damage compared to other characters that can easily cause as much with easy input. EWGFs do have a lot of benefits as they can punish moves that normally can't be punished with the fastest jabs on block and it's launchable. When you master them, they are overpowering.
I know where you're coming from, but there's two different attributes to Tekken: The skill of the character input and how well mixups and style is applied to the game. Ex: Asuka is a very easy character to use which means very easy inputs to control, but requires mixups on lots of cancels that can put her in unsafe conditions. Nina is hard to master for executing multiple WS 2, but the advantage gives more damage and spacing, hence once that is mastered, you have more to bring to the table.
its all about being consistent... not about flashy combo's, you need to be able to hit the combo everytime, never miss, that is why you dont try to pull something that need super strict timing without being too risky.
@aK1baby: Yeah. I've been practising for over a year now without stick! Feels like I have to give myself a electric shock if I have to execute that move. A blink of an eye is much slower you see. hehehe ;P
@ahtambe u have to buffer the fff but even if i do it hundrets of times the same way the successrate will be around 30% (with controller!)... this is a double edge sword u need to master this finisher cuz its the highest dmg u can get without a wall otherwise u may lack dmg at some point and might lose. i really like kingstyle but i decided to switch the char because i cant get rid of this problem :D. same problem with giant throw its so hard to execute it fast enough with controller
@xguardian12 Kazuya is consider by many tier lists as SS rank. (as in #1) All thanks to EWGF : 14 frame safe on block launcher. The only thing better than EWGF is hwoarang's just frame sky rocket.
@xguardian12 Yeah, from T6 1.0 to T6BR, Kaz got nerfed pretty hard. It sucks for me since I main him, but I guess it's more balanced. He's friggin' tough to use against others, you got that right. The Mishimas probably take the most time and dedication to master, and even when you do master them, there's not that big of a payoff most of the time. But the challenge is fun though.

Dude that's a problem if you cannot fight well against someone mashing buttons. Asuka's attack reversal has its benefits but it's also easily able to spot once the character starts abusing it at the end of strings. She's certainly not overpowered. She lacks poking attacks that someone like Nina or Bryan have. the only range she can even get is canceling out of WS 1+2 and even that puts her at a disadvantage if the character spots the canceling.

I have to ask....after playing tekken 6 for almost a month.....WHY THE HELL DO PPL SUCK AT THIS GAME I SWEAR PPL HAV IT JUST TO SPAM AND DO NONSENSE CUZ THEY SUCK AND CANT PULL SHIT LIKE THIS IN OTHER GAMES, im not the greatest player int he world, but at least I study my characters, pull combos and non cheap juggles and such but ugh, y do ppl like that exist, seriously how do u guys especially main man put up with this?
I noticed that too. The answer is this- Tekken 6 has been out since like 2008 i think. My guess is that all the good players have migrated toward tekken tag tournament2. And some to tekken revolution (but youll see a shitload of spam in TR too). In T6 you'll fight alot of scrubs in player match. All the good players left in t6 you'll find in ranked match. But yeah, lots of silly scrubs and spammers in T6 lol.
lol well i have a ps3 but i have ttt2 for xbox so thats y i didnt get it for ps3 so i caught onto the face that ppl play better on ttt2, but its very frustrating especially with the bad lag, but revolution is alot worse on my opinion, i hate that u gotta buy and unlock characyters
Stefan Crow Definitely.. revolution is by far the worst. the tactics people will use on there to win or try to win is just sad. and of course the F2P aspect and all that bs of having the option to buy characters, coins, etc
@Mainman Well i think this match was really awsome your combos are great but you need stratagy to knock em down!!!!!! Same problem here i used to play with mishimas and i can do combos but when i play in vs with friendz they knock me down like a newbie!!!!Hahahaaha!!!!!Well i like your combos verymuch keep the good thing going!!!!!!!!! i dont know about you but the combos i have mastered by the main man i use if i get the chance in real matches, no disrespect to the main man but when i watch him fight and he doesnt use his own combos is reather disapoointing
@GTAFANMAN1 you get good by practicing non stop i mean sit in practice mode for hours and hours practicing ten hit combos or just juggle combos you gotta find ur own way to play you know ? like play someone online and steal their combos orr just go to practice mode and look at sample combos
HD is the shittttt the main man, in my opinion, is the BEST kazuya player the second match, i noticed mainman can dodge a crazy amount of attacks. good shit, but why did you highlight yer losses?
but honestly, this king player ain't really good, hes pretty sloppy tho, he dont know how to connect through wall combos ,what combo is nescessary to push opponent to walls and start wall combo, and relying too much on UF 4 and D DF 2, well those 2 attacks are great, but UF 4 have disadvantage if the opponent blocks it
good vid no spam,no endless juggle,no cheap moves just good old school tekken with new school combos i still disagree on the juggling but it wasnt as bad as others
