With anyone wondering on how to do the CD2 into CD1, I have some suggestions that might help at least a little bit. You will still have to grind the timing out, but go into practice mode and turn on the Recovery Animation. As soon as Armor King isn't blue, do the input as fast as you can! It's all about speed with this link and it suuuuuuucks to learn, but definitely rewarding when you get it.
The cd1 after jab is even harder imo. It seems impossible even after practicing forever. It always comes out too late or when I try to do it early I just get a standing jab. I’ve also seen players do dark upper- standing 4- cd1. This seems impossible no matter how many times I try smh.
@@spap4460 it isn't as strict as it seems. You just gotta make sure you're doing it after the jab animation ends and not during Easier said than done of course

Just my two cents but for the combo that starts at 0:27 another good variation is CD2, forward up+3, 1+2 2, db 1-4 into SW. 73 damage (I believe) haven’t seen many people do too often or bring up in many videos. Easy to do and good output. Works like a charm.

Goddamn this vid is really clean. Just wish I could pull off godfist into lariat fast enough to do some of those wall carry combos lol. Anyone got tips? (Using a regular fightstick)
fellow AK user here. what i do initially is after the launch i try to 6n23 quickly enough and target the diagonals harder to ensure the command is read. but you wanna make sure you do the 6n23 fast enough or you'll drop it, hiting the wave the crucial but doing it quickly right after launch is needed. it takes some practice, and with it its not that hard to do. i do all my combo with my variation and its excellent damage and rewarding
After cd2, if you input cd1 too early the game will only read a jab (1). If you do it too late you will whiff the lariat. I got my practice from making sure cd1 came out even if it whiffed. Then just progressively try to get faster. The game will let you do the move input fast. Just gotta find the correct timing window.
I'm really impressed on how you play Armor King so I bought him. The thing here is some of your counter combos are too difficult to execute well like twisting the opponent in mid-air then lp + grab.
I really do struggle with the Cd2, Cd1. 80 Dmg combo. I do pull it off sometimes, but it's very inconsistent. Cd2 into Cd1 is tricky for me, but my timing is getting better. My main problem is even if i pull of Cd2 into Cd1, sometimes the opponent flips a bit and the combo drops. Is this a Axis problem ? Also any tips how to get the Shining Wizard more consistently ? If opponent flips in air that mean your cd1 is too late, it have to be pretty tight executed. About shining wizard, you have to buffer first F into db24 recovery animation and when you are free to move you hold secound F so you can run as soon as possible
I seem to have trouble getting the iSW (air throw) in combos that have 5 hits before the screw, i.e., uf+4, df+3, df+1, 1+2,2, db+2,4, iSW. I never get to the opponent in time for the iSW. Is the timing exact/perfect? I can do combos easily with 4 hits before the screw.
After the screw, I immediately input f,f,f to start running. At the last forward, I hold it then input the 2+4 for the iSW. The timing has to be on point.
quick question, really need help with the staple combo. after DU i wanted to do the lariat move but i always whiff it or i put the wrong input (WR 1)how do i optimize it ?

do you keep missing the grab? you have to run instantly after you've recovered and you can grab a little bit earlier than you probably think. His arms extend out increasing the range. This is for the the combo's where they are knocked away really far. Pretty strict shining wizard. You could also take 1 of the hits out of the combo and the run and grab at the end will be easier as they are closer to you.
You can do CD1 after hopkick it's just extremely tight lol. Also there's that one very tight really big boi combo that jdcr does, I remember mainman talking about it. Dark upper, CD1, jab, CD1, d3+4 1 and burning knuckle is pretty much guaranteed. It's so hard tho smh. Anyway great video bro
@@Nubalanz maybe not guaranteed, but there are a lot of set ups for burning knuckle. I recommend you watch Thoughts Of Himself's AK guides if you're interested
you have to input uf3 really fast so just spam uf3 after uf4 and it should connect, the rest of the combo is easy even after massing so it shouldnt be a problem to get it consistently

Awesome! I just started AK , I am having trouble with the ender (fff 2+4) specially the uf4, uf3, df1, 1+2,2 db2,4 S! fff 2+4. the grab seems to be always late. any tips?
I wasn't that good and i could do almost all of them the charge ki into dark upper is a little hard because you have to be quite fast but aside from they're not hard and very possible even with lag

@@ArmorKingTV21 For button inputs I use TekInput Generator by @chuatecklee on twitter. The custom boxes indicating the stances and states (i.e. SSR, SSR, etc.) I made myself. The combo bar frames I made in Photoshop. The chapter outline I made a wipe effect on the brush image that I found. I use Adobe Premiere to edit. I hope this helps.
