Some notes from community feedback: - Max damage wall combo (and after ch db+4 at the wall) is f+3~f, RSS 2, 1+2. This only works on male characters. - After the d/f+2 combo, you can get in 2 d/f+1s before the b,f+2,1,1+2 string. - Finishing the Bread and Butter combo with f+3~RSS 3 gives Kazumi some nasty okizeme setups. Recommended for stages without walls. Huge thanks to Setnomessej, Ermis-Michael Chalkiadakis and Venom Snake for pointing these out. Keep them coming!
iSnowflakes Finishing a combo with RSS3 leaves the opponent face down, feet away (FDFA), which is very debilitating as get up kicks are slower (both startup and recovery) and they can't spring attack. Meanwhile Kazumi is at the perfect range to whiff punish get up kicks. Here are your options: i. If the opponent presses back (the recommended option) then you can dash in to apply pressure. You don't have too much advantage after dashing, but a dash to a standing 4 will beat out jabs for a combo. Once they're kept honest, apply simple df+1 / db+4 mixups. If the opponent commits to a get up kick you will get hit for dashing in, but this is very risky. ii. If you think they'll do a get up kick, just wait and whiff punish with df+2 or 3,2 mini combo for big damage. iii. If they stay grounded 1+4. This also beats all get up kick options, both grounded side rolls as well as just standing up. If they wake up by pressing back this can be blocked in time, in which case refer to i.
Thanks for the reply! This is really helpful, cause most of the time after doing a launch combo I often drop the pressure and get on the defensive side.... Hopefully with this tip I can keep the pressure on!
Lore theory: Heihachi saw that Kazumi had trained a tiger to an uppercut, and that's when he decided to get Kuma and teach him the Mishima style, because he refused to be outdone.
Hey Salami I want to thank you because this video help me understand a lot more on how to fight with kazumi. Using her in rank I’m struggling against certain characters but not giving up. I started learning her 5 days ago and started practicing with her everyday a long two other characters. I subbed to you and I can’t thank you enough
Nice video! One move that I feel should be mentioned is her d/b+2 - high crush, good range, and it tracks to Kazumi's weak side. The low follow up can be delayed - and can be mixed up with WS+1 or WS+4. It also gives advantage on CH - kinda similar to Dragunov's d+2 (but a bit weaker overall)
Thank you! We will cover Law and all the cast eventually, but priority is being given to characters who don't already have a decent guide up on RU-vid. If you haven't done so already, would highly recommend PepperBeef2Spicy's Law guide: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_4k_87I_L0U.html
I think now in Season 3 for the SSL 2, 1 into guaranteed 1+2 a better option is U/F+2F into RSS mixup or RSS then D+2, it also deals more damage than 1+2
Do more please!😍 These are high quality tekken videos and I've watched Bryan, Drag, and this, but I'm looking for other characters essesntials like Asuka or Leo etc. Keep up the good work😁
I bought myself a new stick recently as I wanted to transition from being a lifelong pad player. I got into Tekken from Tekken 4 but I was just a button masher at the start and used to be until just recently. Kazumi is really great and not to mention fun for learning Tekken from the ground up. I’ve been religiously maining Steve but alas he’s too hard for a beginner like me.
We will eventually get around to Kuma. Unfortunately, as I'm sure you're aware, they're quite unpopular and didn't do so well in our polls, but we will get around to covering every character.
Le Crocodile Rose wait, help me out here but what the difference between the two, is it because this one have a statue and the other one doesn't have one, (Confused)😧😦
There is no difference that I'm aware of, the only thing that the mod changes is that you can play the map in a match or training mode, it's a classic stage mod actually. It replaces the Mishima Dojo stage in the stage list.
Haaa ! I'm glad someone finally asks for it ! :) I'll be the one handling it 99% and it will be a bit special ;) It should normally come as the episode 8 ;) ( i'm finishing to write the script right now :) )
f3 ~ RSS+2, 1+2 is a higher damage wall combo than the ones you listed. The downside is that it only works on male character and whiffs for all the females; in which case you do the other combos.
Guys if you’re having a hard time with the DF+4 combo, I made an easier combo of my own that deals as much damage but easier to execute. Try this: DF4,F3,4(still at flying stance), F3, (Again, still flying stance) 4,2. It’s easier mainly because it’s easier to execute and remember. It also does not have the BF12.
*Low pokes is unsafe on block.* *Well tell me a low poke thats safe on block?* *Aside from jacks d4 which is -9 on block.* *The rest is unsafe on block man* *what the*.......
lol hella old reply but i was thinking the exact same shit. jacks low break the game he has unseeable lows that are safe on block and gives plus frames on hit as well as high crush with fc db1 wtf harada
Tekken 7 is the best fighting game ever. Not perfectly balanced at the moment but easily most fun to learn and most exciting tournaments. And learning multiple characters gives endless hours of fun. And it looks amazing.
Combos are unoptimized , even tho u say that its "max damage". Also, you didnt mention that its pretty much always better to use FLY 3 as a combo ender, as it sets u up for okizeme. Other than that , prretty decent video
I have butter after f,f+4 very big problems hitting the bread and. Can't get the 3,1 consistently, sometimes I get it but most of the times the 3 misses. Any tips?
@@Schmoschify its inconsistent has the same problems initially, this video is a bit outdated tbh now, there are better optimal combos you can find elsewhere for kazumi.
Episode 2, which covers Jack-7, is on novriltataki's channel who's helping us out with this series: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ObMRMu5LrZg.html
@@iamamv1613 Because she's a poking- pressure oriented character. Normally you have to choose from either one of the options either good punishment or good poking. Example being Kazuya and Steve which are complete opposites of each other.
Ever since I bought the game I spent more time customizing my characters than actually playing lol, new player btw, I couldn't decide on a main since some characters have really good customization but their gameplay isn't what I'm looking for, and some is direct opposite of that, but kazumi is kinda the middle ground, I enjoy the way she plays and she's got some pretty cool stuff on her customization! And she's the ara Ara type so... For now I main her, other characters I enjoy are Josie, Fahkumram both because I do kickboxing/muaythai, Lili... Biased on that one too, am French xD
This video is super great! Very high quality and work put into it! Maybe consider making one for Nina? Since she is so hard to use and for beginners hard to interrupt
dude you are fucking killing it. keep it up! all the transitions are seamless and all the information is displayed more clearly than any other tekken videos i've watched.
Nice editing, the interface is clean and to the point! An idea would be to include the name of each of the top moves, next to the notation, for new players, though it's certainly not required.
I really want to compliment you on successfully creating a guide that is not only informative and easy to understand, but also has an amazing finish when it comes to design. Makes for an interesting watch. Good job and thank you for the video.
This is awesome. Your guides are so fun to watch and such a piece of knowledge. All the community should be grateful with this guides. (As I am). I wish you would do all the characters essentials.
Made a cheatsheet with images from the video so i could go into practice mode and see the combos and moves without tabbing , ill link it here just in case someone is interested , peace! drive.google.com/open?id=1UOoOosq1Ev8i2D392w5SWuczfs3gJN7G
