Stumbled across your stream the other day, thought you were pretty good then got the game and started looking up combo tutorials and found your youtube channel. Good stuff and keep up the good work.
The first combo is an absolute pain to perform. It's much easier to use 1+2, 3 after the jumping knee launch, then proceed to grab. The damage is the same, and it's much easier to perform.
I agree, although the combo in the video is better for wall carry combos, like if you do f2,1 after the screw thats like half the arena most of the time
I really would prefer just seeing the buttons. For someone just starting out, the notation here makes learning these combos about 1000% more difficult.
The notation is super easy to learn compared to most fighters, only 4 buttons to worry about. 1 and 2 are left and right punch, 3 and 4 are left and right kick. Would be a bit difficult to put up multiple sets of buttons for each console
It's just easier for everyone else that's not on PS4 or whatever console or stick/pad to learn commands instead of UF∆+O or DB Y+B. I suggest people who play fighting games to start learning 1,2,3,4's.
Very very helpful, pretty hard to find good combo/guide videos regarding Tekken 7 considering it was released so recently (took me soooo many hours to get my Miguel to a borderline decent skill level), so thanks! :)
hey awesome video, just a quick question. i found some combos in other videos that do more damage, for instance d/b+2 ; d/f+4,3 ; f+1 ; f+1,2 ; f,f+1 ; S! ; iSW but the f,f+1 never hits. are these old arcade combos and dont work in console anymore? or is there a trick to the f,f+1? the f,f+1 hits with d/b+2 d/f+4,3 d/f2,1, f,f+1
legendaryMihawk yeah I found more info on tekkenzaibatsu. I think my issue was that I didn't do the f+1,2 with a correct forward input, I just held it..
Hey man I think this notation misses out a number of inputs. For instances missing out directional inputs to move into the next button sequence. Still great and I love that you repeat it in slowmo.
Bester Mann, wollte die ganzen Combos mir selbst beibringen hat auch ganz gut geklappt, mit deiner Hilfe hab ich aber jetzt paar mehr drauf, danke dafür Mihawk-sama ;)
I tried using these combos in tekken 6 (PPSSPP) but the last move which is the running jaguar bomb move won't trigger... am I doing something wrong? Need help....
These combos are outdated and overcomplicated compared to what we have today. The ones today are not only easier but do more damage. Just letting you all know because king was buffed 4 times since this video
Bro i grew up only playing tekken 5 on ps2 when i was young and i mained king but when i bought tekken 7 everything changed, combos deleted, basic moves switch around, and damn ultimate moves that they added made this game a complete tryhard dream to spam that shit
Somehow i never succeed at doing the iSW. Is it because of my bad dpad (playing with xbox 360 controller) or is it really that hard? I only managed to get ff 2+4
@@tincanhoboman so it would be ff hold forward 2+4? Ok i'll try. But i really think it's my xbox dpad. I managed to do it with DS4 (not all the time but i did it many times)
In the third combo, you have ws2, but you don't explain what that is in the notation. What exactly is it, or am I overlooking it? But I wanted to learn the first two combos since I got most of the throws down, just lacked the correct moves for the combos besides a few punches and the running powerbomb. Anyway, thanks for the assist and putting up the video. Hopefully I'll be able to translate it to my own game and I can do them.
I cant slap the grab at the end of the combos. Can someone explain how to make this easier as a controller player. It's the only problem K struggle with in combos. 😭😥
It requires an "instant while running", which means you very quickly have to tap forward 3 times before the grab. It's tough to master but a few characters really benefit from being able to do it quickly. The notation is f,f,f+2+4 but some people say it helps to do f,f,n,f (n is neutral, let the stick return to center) or f,n,f,f instead
Don't worry, is not a game error, you just have to be more quick when the opponent is falling, power bomb only works when the opponent's legs are still in the air
Why does everyone do the first combo of this video instead of one of the sample combos that the game suggests? It's way easier and does more damage. I'm talking about uf4, 1+2, 3, WR 2+4.
S! means skrew, it's not a move ignore it. iSW is Instant Shining Wizard, you have to do fff2+4 to perform it. It's a running ariel grab, so you wil have to run in order to grab the opponent in the air before he/she hits the ground.
Do you mean Ki Charge? That's all 4 buttons at the same time. It makes your next hit a counter-hit, but means you can't block, if I remember correctly..
I cant thank you enough for showing it i hope you bring more king moves love you so much keep up the good work and youre good at explaining once again thank you
Capture cards allow you to record footage from a console, but you'll have to use a PC/Mac/etc. to edit the recorded footage inside a media editing program, i.e. Sony Vegas
If you're getting leg throw, you have one of two problems. 1. Not tapping forward 3 times 2. Not holding forward when you hit the 2+4 at the end #2 was my problem for awhile. Just make sure you're still holding forward when you hit 2+4
I'm in the same boat. Every time I try to use ff+1 after the initial 1, either ff+1 whiffs or the game reads the input as another 1. Need some help with that too!
Brianna Eaton I'm not too experienced but from what I've seen a lot of eddy players press a lot of buttons , so patience is key . As for what moves to use I think it's just trial and error really depending on the player
I dont know if this is still relevant to you but it might help someone else, you have to do a mini dash wish makes it instead of df4,3 - f f b df4,3 it requires insanely accurate timing to perform correctly
Hello man i try since yesterday and 4 hours to do CR df2, ff, f3, df 4 3, 1 2, ff1, ff 2+4 or uf4, 4, ff, df 4 3, 1 2, ff1, ff 2+4 for exemple did it's possible ? and if it's possible can you show how with input command =)
Iinifinii I'm a 6-year king player. Combos you listed are all possible. But I need to mention that those combos are extremely unnecessary, even pro players like knee and triple H do not use them because they are too hard to use even in arcade games or offline mode.
Iinifinii Think about this, calculate their mathematical expectations. Normal crouching df2 combo does 65 damage, and the one you listed does around 73. This means you have to successfully perform 89% of the harder one to get better result than normal one. Which is impossible for everybody on this planet to do it in online mode
Iinifinii but if you really wanna know how to do it. I can tell you there are 2 parts you need to focus on. The first one is, you have to feel the exact time of pre-input for every command. Just like when is the earliest time to input ff1. The second is you have to input ff1 as fast as possible. By the way, iSW is not ff 2+4, it is ffF 2+4. The reason ff works for this situation is because when the distance is long enough, ff put you into the same running status as fff.
Ok I have no prob for input fF faster possible fF1 / fF3+4 / fF4 closer as possible, but for juggle 12, fF1, I can't see when I must input or I do it too late. This BnB is just OP, high dommage, wall carry, I ask because in my mind, there are tricks for succes it, maybe F12, fF1 / f12, fF1 / f1 1+2 2, ff1 / f[12],fF1 or no one trick and it's 12, fF1, I look for that and one moment I will succes this BnB ! One person say me input fF1 when right hand stay back on his neutral position that all. In all this Bnb is really worth it, if you 4 dash df43 closer as possible, correctly, otherwise df43 df 21 works.
Basically i m excellent player of king but the fact is i dont know these combos moves ...i know every multiple grapples traditional combos and other grapples..😞😞
Am i just clueless or wtf are these combos??? I havn't played Tekken in a very long time, since like Tekken 3 so maybe theres something i've missed. But i play with an Xbox controller on my PC and i've never seen anything with "uf4 4 dash df4, 3 df2, 1 S! isW" like what does that even mean? Someone who can explain, because i have 0 clue what that means.
What.. no... 1 is left punch, 2 is right punch, 3 is left kick and 4 is right kick, basically square, triangle, X and circle on Playstation. Just count from left to right horizontally.
I made this combo that's 84% damage but the power bomb at the end is hard to execute! Does anyone know a easier way to do the fff 2,3 when you at close distance
Which combo is it? If you're talking about the run for iSW, then you need to buffer it ASAP after other inputs. I find it easier to do f, then f,f for this.
Your wall combos are a bit lacking. He has a wall throw that you have to do f,f,f+2+4 or f,hcf+1 to do it. b+1,4 is a good wall option too, and also his d/f+4,3,d+4.
As a King main, it's most likely that your timing just a little is off. I had the same problem as well at first. What I had to understand is, basically, you have to input fff and the command grab within the time is takes you to close the distance between King and your opponent. In some cases, due to the nature of the combo, you have much less time to do this, which can make it difficult. The easiest way to do it is, once you are in the dashing animation, following f,f, you press F (hold it) and press the command buttons (2+4) exactly 1 frame after. If you're still having difficulty executing it this way, another way to do it is to use the jaguar step. Jaguar Step (3+4) into the throw eliminates the need to do iWR. The range on this, however, is limited as the Jaguar step only covers so much distance, so it's best used to end combos where King is relatively close to the opponent. As you mess around in the lab, you'll figure out when it's better to use the jaguar step trick and when it's better to do the iWR throw instead. As with everything, it's just down to practice and timing, so don't give up!
@@sirnemo92 aw man thanks for the heads up and time investment Really appreciate Well what if I pressed f (pause for little frame)and then immediately after that ff(into a running animation) then pressed 2+4 ?
@@charataru1805 As far as I know, that might work. I could be wrong but I've just never done it that way. If you play on pad like I do, mapping buttons helps tremendously when playing King. Not only is it much easier to execute your iSW out of the Jaguar step, but your other command throws as well as chain grabs are also so much easier. You can simply map the (3+4) to one button and the (2+4) to another. Then, you just tap them one after the other and, boom; iSW that's very easy to execute. If you really want to learn the iWR moves, which is definitely beneficial with King, honestly, there really isn't any secret to iWR moves. It's just practice and timing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0iDmqmyL2kw.html You can always try looking at this guide and practice your execution. Hope this helped a bit!
I'm having trouble with the first combo. after the uf/4,4. I can not get the dash right. it never works for me. does anyone have any tip on how to dash and connect with the df/34?
I use king but only a bit and his combos are really lacking in variety. pretty much the same combo repeated again and again. nothing wrong with your video just kings combos in general
