Never knew how obnoxious that damn gun sound was until it was 2 Jack's, now it's just seems very annoying. All the sound effects in this game are pretty bad. Block sound effect is hard to tell if something even hit or not. Even block animations on some move looks like they hit, and some move hit and it feels and sounds like it got blocked.... It's so ........ .... just..... not Tekken.
The one maybe valid claim is that the sound effects on hit and on block sound similar for Jack. The claim that this is "so.... just.... not Tekken" sounds over-dramatic to me. The block/hit animations are literally the same from T7. Many call this game Tekken 7.5 with a heat system. The difference between T7 and 8 is no where near that of T3/Tag 1 and T4.
@@nginroom8108 lol no they are not. Do not get on here and argue just to argue. A lot of the hit and block animations have been changed. Even for small generic moves like ws4 have their own hit animations now. Let's take Shaheen f2,3 for example......the way it sounds on hit it stupid, it doesn't sound like anything just this obnoxious hit animation. Or Leroy's d1+2, you have this loud ass sound effect, but on block the opponent just stands their as if nothing ever happened. Ling in heat has some new lows, there are no vocal sounds for her new moves, just this dumb ass sound effect that sounds like something is being squeezed and pushed, then boom you just been snaked edged by this fast low that you can't see but just have to guess. If Ling said "hi yah" instead of this dumb ass mechanical sound effects it would be easier to identify.
@@mistahkalean6777 Obviously there will be and there have always been changes to block and hit animations from as far back at T2, but there's no dramatic change in block/hit animations between Jack 7 and 8 (and even most of the cast) to cause the confusion you claim. Also, I wasn't debating sound effects with you, so your rant was so unnecessary I didn't bother reading that part. Views on the sound effects are so subjective it's pointless to debate. Ultimately, the claim that this is "so.... just.... not Tekken" because of your personal distaste for changes in the animation, sound effects or even gameplay is what sounds silly to me and what mostly triggered my response. T8 is still a largely familiar game, and there's no debating that.
