Keisuke is a player with incredible fundamentals. He wins with a very compact playstyle and being very cautious not to over extend. Also, he makes hard reads and acts on them, really it 's a joy to watch. It just feels like he's not taking advantage of the new techs in T8 that give Kazuya just tremendous damage and Oki, if he added some of that stuff he'd an even bigger monster.
It's no wonder I've kinda based my Kaz on this guys, in terms of how to play a defensive Kazuya. And the good thing about my Kazuya not being so heavily offense is that rehearsing combos with good defense is easier than having good combos but shit for defense.
Kazuya is always more of tactical fighter than aggressive . Keisuke plays his game based on it. Sure he might not deal massive damage but he always gives solid damage which is strong power of Kazuya The thing that makes him struggle here is law basically has 2nd best move recovery which makes opening pretty hard (lee has the 1st move recovery)
With new techs i m not talking about playstyles. I main Kaz myself and i'm quite defensive but using the new techs like f4 at the end of combos into mix up or at df1,2 at the wall into tremendous oki makes it easier to steal rounds against Law. Especially since Law in this game is on steroids and speed combined, it s always good to have a few rounds on him because he can always just cheese you out with offense.
I couldn’t be happier with the game, coming from an mk player who couldn’t wait to get into Tekken, i can proudly say Tekken is the Emperor of Fighting Games, yes there are some bullshit like blocking sometimes doesn’t register or the silly battle pass but overall its a wonderful game, i love Law so much🐉
Ya dude like cancelled the, whatever it’s called, heat smash? Usually Law does what looks like an overhead after the little closeup. How did he do that?
Keisuke has a Liquipedia profile and has played tournaments where macros would be banned. If he uses them online, that's one thing. But he's proven himself in real tournaments
