Lowhigh learned a thing or two from his deathmatches against bare_chi. He's playing a bit more riskier which is good if you want to be unpredictcable with Steve. I still think Japanese Steve players are better than the Koreans.
Absolutely, Lowhigh before was playing too safe with Steve, which wont work now due to the game's system and Steve's nerfs on CH. Although his pokes are still safe and takes a good amount of damage. But I wished he would utilize UB3 more, its such a sight to see when opponents whiff on it.
@@foxlyfe bare_chi (that's how you spell it) has a youtube channel. If you want to watch his previous live streams there is a $5 month paywall. I do pay for it, it's worth it. He's had numerous deathmatches against Lowhigh in Tekken 7 and still plays against Lowhigh in Tekken 8. There is Nobi of course, and he has his own youtube channel called "Nobi Tube". Buppamen one of the best Steve players in the world is almost on twitch everyday. Just twitch search Buppamen.
@@keyboardvs1737 He's a Japanese player who plays Steve aggressive with an unorthodox playstyle. He has a lot of interesting mixups, takes lots of risks. I can tell Lowhigh copied some of his mixups and offensive strats. His offense is really strong but his defense is lacking if he's not familiar with a match up. bare_chi is still one of the best Steve players in Japan. He has a youtube channel, but you have to pay monthly ($5 a month) if you want to rewatch his live streams. I pay for it, it's worth it.
I notice in higher ranks, playing defensively is so much harder than attacking in T8. Smart mashing is the way to go, T7 I had an easier time being a turtle, not anymore.
Tekken 8 will have the shortest pro scene in Tekken history. It won't be anyone's time. It's gonna be random. This game is so badly made that it's Rng who wins. A coin toss just like it's gameplay. Which will lead to the game dying in the next 8 months. It already started. It had a 45k peak at launch. A new dlc came out and it's 12k peak in the last 24 hours on steam. Going from average of 35k to 12k. Most console players already left. I'd counter WAY less console players now. On steam it's as popular as Tekken 7 in September 2022. The game just came out 2 months ago. If they don't 180 on the random dumb "aggressive" gameplay, the game will have 1000 daily players tops by.... October 2024. So far, my prediction is for the game I made after the beta came out all true. I called that people will defend the game, which will lead to the game coming out day 1 broken and with tons of balance problems, especially mechanical balance problems ( I didn't expect dragunov to be so string though. I blame king players for hiding the fact that throws are so op. Nobody said a damn thing, little pathetic losers, willing to sacrifice the game just to get easy wins). I gave the game 8 months until it's death. Similar to the life cycle to mortal Kombat 1, since Tekken devs wanted to mimic mk, micro transactions, gameplay being dumbed down, game balance, pre picked winner characters for the next tournament (they REALLY REALLY want lil Majin to win. So don't expect any nerfs to king any time soon). So they get the same life cycle. Except netherrealm makes a new game every 2 years, sometimes 1 year apart, with dlc prolonging the life span of the game via guest characters. Tekken can't do that either. Tifa wont save Tekken 8. In fact, it might be the last straw and kill it (she's gonna be braindead easy, too strong, pure dlc pay 2 win, a female character aka few people will use as a main except tier whores)
@@ojsojs6004most people at a tournament are good. But we will be seeing lots of new names and people that didn't do well at Tekken 7. Of course there's skill needed to win, but I wouldn't take a bet on anyone winning cuz anyone can win. Literally.
