whoever decided to make Kazuya's ending a hypothetical god-king interview where he loves his wife and shows off his banger sneaker collection deserves a raise
@@hafirenggayudalol for real.. but I don’t understand why he threw him off a cliff instead of throwing him into a volcano.. if heihachi survives that volcano then this is gonna be mad 😂
Not gonna lie, Kaz having a Framed Picture of Jun on his table made me kinda sad because that’s pretty much the only nice thing he ever does, considering that his wife is literally alive now.
Finally a Kazuya ending that is not about violence! A nice change of pace and makes him more human. Also it's finally confirmed that he did in fact care about Jun
@@malcovich_games Good eye, tho she looked visibly upset and confused, almost like she woke up from a dream. Arcade stories are non-canon anyways, so I am just gonna pretend the canon ending is that it was not a dream :p
@@serenalaurence1492 I mean, I always thougt of the Non canon endings as half-canon, in that they show us more about the character's personality, what would they do in a given situation (if they inherited the Zaibatsu, if they defeated their enemy, et cetera)
I love the fact that Kuma actually got to help take out Kazuya in Reina's ending. No funny business, he just hits that Demon Uppercut and serves him up to Reina.
This the first time ever Jin and Kazuya got a wholesome "What if ending", all because, at some point, Jun was there with them. Jun really has a meaning in their heart. It's just sad that Jun is the only one has the sad ending... She just only wants a complete and happy family. 😭
I hope so, since this is not the first time they used some of the character's endings as canon. But Bamco and Harada said that the character endings are "what if" scenarios, so I won't be hopeful.
I'm annoyed they couldn't think of a different ending for Yoshi. This is the third game where his ending is just fighting him. They could have at least brought back the Robin Hood stuff or something with the evil sword and Azazel.
It's crazy how good these are in every way, from giving nice what if closures to being funny as heck, not to mention how gorgeous everything is, arguably one of the best set of arcade endings in a fighting game.
Kazuya being obssesed with shoes is something i did not understand at first but when you remember that he actually has some sort of protection in his feet default alt ever since tekken 1 ( unlike a character like heihachi for example ) you start to see a bit of a paralel there ... sort of ... Its still funny and cool i guess , kazuya being happy by genuine emotion is something we dont see much anyway
Heihachi liked to collect geta sandals, so kazuya does the opposite and collects sneakers. It's like how Anna and Nina like Tom and jerry. (Nina likes Tom while Anna likes Jerry)
Kazuyas ending is so great, it's still in character while showing us another side of him and at this point I consider it canon that Jun is important to him
Maybe there's another Bruce Lee reference because she throws water before dying, some people believe Bruce died because he drunk too much water (I am not joking, look it up)
The secret ending just show us Kazuya being a "True Mishima" in blood and mind. There, we see Kazuya just doing Mishima family tradition or I would call it "Throw your problematic brat to the cliff/lava mountain and hope he/she death or he/she will comeback to get revenge for that sh*t"🤣🤣🤣
Every time I see the endings I can't help but notice a detail. In some endings like those of Jin 1:53 , Kazuya 0:30 , Lili 24:21 , Dragunov 10:10 , Nina 31:05 . Azucena's new product ends up appearing 6:05 , which makes me wonder if her ending is canon 😅
It does in Xiaoyu’s too. When she sees Jin and Panda pushes her towards the balcony the tea/coffee is there on the side. You can even see her reflection in the mirror when she passes it. The details are crazy.
Love the whole throwing unconscious family member bodies off high places in Tekken that began with father-to-son and it wouldn't be the same without it plus he kept his original hobby, the shoe collection, and family hobby, throwing the father or son off the edge of something, he kept that as a reminder on how his dad taught it to him as a young child
the cartoonish liveliness with which all of these are animated is fucking stellar. it like, looks beautiful. i was not expecting it to look as nice as it does!!!
I hated the costume at first, but I guess the devs algo disliked the suit, so they use it for jokes, which makes it more tolerable. I am surprised there's not a single joke related to Paul's new haircut, that thing looks hideous
Steve's ending feels like a not so subtle jab(no pun intended) at the playerbase complaining about male physiques. I dig it anyway. These endings are pretty nice.
@@kobold7964 Something about how the guys are needlessly jacked and bulky. In the same vein as the ladies being flawless porcelain dolls. I do not mind, personally.
@@LucidFlameX So wait, let me get this straight, people are complaining… that the characters look… too good? That’s some of the dumbest, most worthless complaints that I’ve heard in a very, very long time.
@@kobold7964 I guess this "complaint" came from twitter bubbles, talking about the most disgusting hellhole in the internet (well, tiktok is trying really hard to take over)

P.S. lets be honest its most cruel situation when collection cannot be ended completely. But CREATIVE save situation!!!) P.P.S. pink tank... seriously?... "Hey artillery! Im here shoot me!!!!"
The ending where I lost it was when Law died and went to Heaven XD 😂. Steve's ending also got me in stitches. But honestly, I'm so happy we have good endings again!
literal translation of what Claudio said: É inutile = It's useless (it's no use) Antico demone = ancient demon Il tuo destino é segnato = your destiny is determined (sealed, literally marked) Basterà un colpo = one hit will be enough (literally it will be needed just one strike, it will suffice one strike) per vincere e per raggiungere le stelle = to win and reach the stars la terribile calamità é stata annientata = the terrible calamity has been annihilated (destroyed , wiped out, obliterated) creature maledette, sprofondate nell'oscurità, per sempre = accursed creatures, plunge (sink) into the darkness, for ever
Jun is a very cool character, maybe the best design in the whole game if you count only the females (Reina is right up there)... but her ending was kinda meeh, typical cutesy/family friendly
Interesting detail: At 0:50, Kazuya usually smiles on his left side where his Devil's eye is, but here he smiles from both sides. You usually see him smile on one side whenever he does something else, like global domination. However, this goes to show that collecting sneakers is the ONLY thing that truly makes him happy.
10:53 - I hoped Mokujin was in Tekken 8, but as playable fighter. Nevermind, I found this cameo funny anyway 🤷♂️🤣 Then, I want that Mokujin action figure! NOW!
I see a lot of comments regarding to Kazuya's ending and his fascination to his sneakers collection. Like okay that's not something majorly super exciting to be hype about but still a stellar ending as to all of the others are. Law getting abuse throughout not only his trailer but others & some serious grounded ones like Jun reflection wanting her family to get along and Shaheen protecting Lili & Asuka from an assassination attempt which caught me by surprise. Honestly and this goes without saying that the endings here is a step up better than Tekken 7. Not I don't hate Tekken 7 mind you but it felt like it needed stuff like this there.
As if every human being was born in 1994 and play the very first Tekken. Ofc most people won't know about Kazuya's shoe collecting hobby that's why its shocking, a bit funny and so out of character for them
Honestly, Shaheen is such a lame character, bland... I expected yet another silly joke, he replicating The Bodyguard infamous sacrifice scene... but nope, nothing happened
@@RRRRRRRRR33 I'm sorry "replicating the bodyguard infamous sacrifice scene!" Who else you know in Tekken that does that? At the very least he's not another joke character that you don't take seriously.
@@akilcharles3473 He is not a silly character, he is a nothing character, that's the point. If even Kazuya and Jin can have silly moments, why not Shaheen as well? But here we are, everything about this character is bland and lame
@@RRRRRRRRR33 Bruh you can't say he's a silly character when you get like the 2 bears, a mute russian soilder that plays with toy pink tanks, a peruvian girl that's obsesses with coffee and a Bruce Lee lookalike that gets own in every ending he's in. And Shaheen is not the only character that has a serious ending, among them was Jun,Leroy even Yoshimitsu has an intimidating ending once. Last game he felt up on Leo's erm I guess breast/chest I suppose. And why would you say his ending is lame, man stop a bullet from reaching Lili and swung his sword at the assailants neck, if that's your take of him being lame then I don't know what is your conception of what's cool really is my guy.😞
