Honestly just looks like you were a bit nervous, i didnt recognize your signature playstyle that people know you for. Im proud of you all the same man. Keep attending and the nerves will disappear. You 100000% have the talent to compete with anybody and you put in the work. Never give up brother
I think Arslan's defence and general playstyle forces him to slow down, it looked like he tried to go for his aggressive playstyles a couple of times, but against that defence...
@@trashboat4731its not because of better play its because nina is just uncommon character they cant see what she will do next she just hits with fingers and do weird movement. Kazuya or Jin does basic movements you can see it coming. Woman characters are just to jolly they di hit with anything
@@bar0n957 scrub mentality, this is pro level play, you should know how to play this match up at this level. Not being negative, I love devil but the guys still has much to improve. Don't get me wrong Nina is stupid in this game, but devil still needs to improve at the game on a competitive level. Arslan was the better player here.
To the people saying that Devilster didn't do very well, It's literally his first tournament and playing offline, especially in a tournament setting is VASTLY different than playing online. It can be very nerve racking going into a tourney for your first time, especially a HUUUGE tournament with international players. I imagine the pressure is very real, and Devilster handled it like a player that will be a champion when the time comes, and it will come. Devilster's performance in this tournament has inspired me to play more Jin, even though I'm a full blown Kazuya main now.
As a person, you have positive energy. what I believed your opponent completely aware of your playing style. That's just the beginning and best of luck. What I notice, Arsalan keeps changing it's character for the tournament that gives it's opponent a whole new experience and it give him a edge because opponent don't know his playing style.
Good games man, there is definitely room for improovement, just need to keep showing up to tournaments and play, nice to see you going out, keep on if you can and believe in your heart
Man keep your head up and keep striving for greatness way to get out there and compete proud of you sticking you Jin and making your name known out there you truly will continue to grow and get stronger but definitely still a great set
and people were complaining we wont get these videos on your channel, we support you bro, you did your best, we clearcly so you became unconfident because it was your 1st time in a physical tournament, but you still did good, we will recommend you to keep on participating in these physical tournaments to improve your confident.
Yeah, he was nervous, but he made his presence know to the scene even more now. Im proud of you Bro and will be rooting for you in the tournaments. Would Def like to run a set bro.
so happy to see u participate in the tourney, and u playin against best player in Tekken (Knee and Arslan) even tho u were lost but it such a great match!
@@Devilish420 yeah for sure, hopefully we'll see devilster in future match at the big stage👀 asides from devilster's match, i found that this tourney is really fun to watch, more entertaining than evo japan i'd say. its like most pro players (finally) adapted with the game
Unlucky Devilster! I know it is Arslan but it seems nerves really got to you in these matches as you played very differently and too cautious compared to your normal style. Of course you are much better player than me and do better vs Arslan than I could but some good takeaways from this match and match with Knee: - Stop using d2 after opponent proven reaction unless hard read - Use more d4 df1 df3 f4 b3(2) b12 hit confirm; nerves make default to 21, db4 and divekick - Less reliance on divekick since it gets floated too much vs top players - More hellsweep in neutral - Stop using ff31 extension after opponent ducks (Arslan did at very first interaction) Inspiration for us to reach even higher levels! Wish all the best thank you for content and I hope you will overcome these players eventually! Peace
I don't think you deserve criticism in your first in-person tournament. What you need is the encouragement to continue in those types of tournaments, you are good, but you can be better. We will look forward to your next participation.
Idk man something feels like Devilister was holding back against Arslan. But we really saw him open up against kwiss which is very good but devilister forget one thing at that moment that against Hwoarang, one needs to be defensive, seeing an opening and capitalizing your punishes is the key. I Hope one day we'll see you give your best at these king of tournaments just like you inspire us with your ranked matches❤
Really solid performance. It’s tough going to offline events, and it’s even tougher playing your best when you’ve got pressure, but you were doing good. The only thing is that you didn’t know when to take your foot off the gas, and Arslan recognized that after the first two rounds. You beat his ass next time though, Dw >;)
Holy damn Arslan did not allow any stylish play. He forces you to play his game using his knowledge and sharpness. But, Devilster also played really well, as expected from the best Jin in the world.
Man, bums me out you lose, i do notice you're not playing as usual, but understandable given this is a tourney and you're fighting legends, cheers to you man, still believe you have the talent to go far!
Good job, man. Your first tournament, you were nervous and we didn't see even 50℅ of your power, it's normal. Keep fighting and going up, we believe in you.
Dude! You need to get exposed to tournaments. We clearly see that you get nervous and spamming wake up attacks. I was expecting K-Wiss Vs Devilster to be legendary last night.
This is what iv been saying for a while. Many say Devil is the best Jin. Maybe the best Jin to watch for sure. But CBM is definitely best Jin simply because of his experience in tournament play. Devil needs more Experience in tournament to be called the best. But who am I to talk I’m trash at this game lol
You are absolutely right, offline tournaments is a different game no matter what you’re playing Pressure, composure, quick adaptation… Devilster need more offline events
We all know you're better than this Devilster, I'm sure once you get used to tournament settings they'll all get to see what you're really made of, you're always the best Jin player❗
You've done mistakes you do not do generally, you are clearly too stressed in tournament. You need to work your stress if you want to be able to use your real level in tournament.
Honestly this was rough to watch. It's crazy to see how big the gap is for someone like you compared to these pros. Pretty wild to watch you get dominated after watching your vids where you dominate online constantly.
@@lilbxz9905 I never said it wasn't. Wasn't trying to say anything bad, when I said rough, I meant it's rough to see someone I personally think is incredible at the game, get washed like that.
THIS DUDE GOT HIS ASS WHOOPED 3 TO 0!!! THIS IS YOUR CHAMPION, THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL GREAT!! FUCK OUTTA HERE!!! LIL MAJIN WILL WIPE THE FLOOR WITH DEVILSTER.
idk what you're trying to prove here, Devilster just started his pro career so ofc he's not gonna do incredibly well. I'd like to see you get a round from Arslan Ash
@@nathan24-_-2 look MF, I've been playing Tekken for 10+ years. What im trying to say is get the fuck off of his dick thinking he's the best Tekken player out there. When he records videos, he edits them to where he's always winning.
@@tracyclements1467 You say he edits and uploads videos where he always wins but he is literally uploading tournament sets where he's losing, completely collapsing your argument.
