ok guys im gonna be honest i watch this overviews to hear those nearly poetical , well-written descriptions and btw using t6 war theme on t8 war arena is such a cherry on top
I was drawn to his design back in 7 because of a MainManSwe video explaining why he’s so unique. On the outside he seems like a maniacal brute bully. But his gameplay is about control, precision, and being calculated and he hits you with a fucking nuke once you’ve downloaded your opponents habits and defensive/offensive choices. Ive always been drawn to bully archetype fighting game characters but Bryan is such a beautiful and awesome take on the archetype.
@@Skizzy03 beautifully put. His ability to keep you out and then suddenly become an offensive powerhouse is insane. Changing from a keep out to hyper aggressive looping offence is amazing. He’s like Dragunov but can actually keep out opponents.
@@jacket2038it's still slow and highly interruptable. Not only that, it's tracking rn is pretty shit, but still an overall good move. Good, not broken
This is THE best channel I've come across for explaning concisely how to play a character and point out clear combos/techniques for them. Thank you so much
Shoutout to listing the Tekken tracks used in these videos! I've been experimenting with the T8 Jukebox so your track descriptions have been extremely useful.
Even though I don't play him, or like playing against him, Bryan is still one of my favorite crazy bastards in fighting games. Still can't say I'm a fan of him magically getting the skin on his arm back. Bryan's Tekken 7 design was a great visual representation of how battle obsessed he is.
I also expected them to push T7 look even further so that he would look even more cyber psycho, with Jack 8 it worked really well from both visual and gameplay perspective, but with Bryan they tried to keep his legacy look for some reason
Another interesting change is that u/f3 no longer does a knockdown nor splat at wall, and it gives I think +15 on hit meaning you are able to jet upper after u/f3 at wall
He absolutely does not instill fear in T8. His keep out is average and so are his counter hits. Worst heat smash and power crush in the game, very weak to pressure and nearly impossible to break turtles. It’s so easy to both pressure and keep Bryan out to protect health leads. Tekken 7 Bryan is easily stronger. Hatchet is launch punishable and soccer kick is punishable…what’s the point of all the execution???
Killer Video. I picked Bryan after i bought this Game and have been learning him every since. The way you do his moves comes easy to me and he's my fav looking Char as well. Glad to hear i picked a good one cause i had no idea when i first started.
Such a cool and unique character and one that feels satisfying to play once you learn the technical setups and start downloading the opponent's defensive and aggressive habits and then proceed to delete their health bar in a savge and ruthless manner. Also, the duality of his design and gameplay is quite striking, he's like a bully in his design but gameplay wise he's so technical
i sort of wish bryan used the heat system a little better, his heat engagers and his heat smash are pretty mid and once he's in heat mode he just does the same stuff he normally does lol. he's not weak by any means but it kinda feels like i'm still just playing tekken 7 bryan
Coil we get Nina? (For me) and some less popular characters dotted in so people might decide to pick them up? Just an idea whatever works best for business
You were saying neo soul eraser is a wallsplat and it broke the wall wich got me questioning.. In tekken jargon, is a wallsplat the same as a wallbreak or was that just an error?^^ (EDIT 2:47) Love your vids, always suuper helpful!
wallsplat is when you, like the term suggests, splat them against the wall for a combo. A wallbreak is when you and the opponent fly through the wall to the next stage section
Waiting for Jack and Lars I seldom play the former and the latter is my actual character Since Dragunov is very much covered, would be nice to see those two covered, as according to most Tekken players (mostly shitters at that), these two are some of the most massively changed characters coming to 8
Given that most of the player base will be mostly playing online (and that too at low and intermediate levels), it makes sense to mention his snake edge \_(-|-)_/
Bryan is damn near a perfect character I love him I just think the unblockable set up is stupid I’m still conflicted to why Tekken has unblockable moves in a fighting game 👎🏽
@@MrNoorIskandar watch fightnggm analysist and same with super akouma... just watch and listen to what they say about bryan... they are pro players so maybe what they say is valid...
@@bevlade5734pro players = valid???? are you god of destruction rank on bryan? He’s not easy compared to anyone in this game, you need much more effort to make him work
Idk why but Bryan in my opinion is some sort of ,,random bullshit go", no matter which move you use, you are either safe on block or you have a counter hit launcher. BS as fuck
Idk man it might just be cause I'm a scrub but Bryan feels hard af to use. Everyone of his moves feel so much slower than anyone else in the cast. He's good against people who like to turtle and not mash, but the second I run into a masher It feels brutal trying to get my turn in. Doesn't help that his powercrush and jab are garbo.
