Complete combo guide for Devil Jin. I have what I think will be his main BnBs as well as some easier combos for beginners and the odd hard combo that some players might like to try.
Any questions about any of the combos or anything just leave a comment on the video and I will reply to you :)

Two stronger combos off ws+2 and counter hit f+3 > 3 are below: f+3 > 3 > Dash > U+1+2 > 3, 1 > ws+3,f > 4,2,1+2 (84 Damage) ws+2 > Dash > U+1+2 > 3, 1 > ws+3,f > 4,2,1+2 (73 Damage)

how do you ws+3 quickly after the 3 1? i always seem to be too slow here, is there a way to instant ws3?

@FurpNate it's a funny timing but once you practice it a bit it works. I haven't tried to do it with iws+3 but id imagine that would make it a bit harder! I done the ws+3 pickup in my low parry combo video for DVJ, seeing it done there might help

This character is by far one of the coolest characters Ive seen in any fighting game. I thought I had seen everything when I was doing crazy combos in Dragon Ball FighterZ or Guilty Gear Strive. But this guy has some of, if not the satisfying and cool combo strings I've ever seen.

@Dianatroda I've been watching Tekken content on and off since Tekken 6 but I've known about the games since T4. This is the first Tekken game I've ever played. It's definitely a departure from what I'm used to with DBFZ, but it's been a ton of fun just labbing stuff for Jin and Devil Jin.

@Dianatroda gotcha. Yea I was only like 5 when I first heard of Tekken, cuz my local arcade had some fighting game cabinets there, including Tekken 4 and 5. Keep in mind this was like maybe 2007-2008. I followed youtube videos on Tekken way later, about when T6 and Tag 2 were out. But then got really invested in T7 videos during the Pandemic cuz I would watch videos from Maximilian Dood.

@@Dianatroda do you know devil jin max damage against backturn opponents? In tekken 7 i used to bf,1,2,df2 for something like 84 damage but it no longer launches in this game

hey just curious if any of the combos that start with electrics, can be done with a normal wind hook fist instead im brand new and can only get 1/5 electrics to come out in practice but seeing some progress

any tips for landing the second hit of laser scraper after ewgf lasers, 31, bf22uf2? cant get it reliably can't figure out what makes it connect. Nice combo tho 103 no walls.

To make it hit consistently you have to do a deep dash after the laser so you are close enough for laser scraper to hit

@@Dianatroda Alternatively doing a second electric instead of lasers gives you 101 instead of 103, and alot more consistent. I think you can move alot sooner out of lasers than i thought. Need more practice.

I can’t seem to get the hit of df.3 2 4 after the 3 1.ff in some of the combos like the first cancan , but I have no Issue in others is there something I’m missing about the side step dash?

No the sidestep dash is the same as it is for other combos, just so we're on the same page the combo you are referring to is 'd+3+4 > 2 > 3,1,2 > SSR > DASH > 3,1,f,f > df+3,2,4'? Are you sure you are doing a big enough sidestep? If you can record you doing the combo and send it to me on discord I'll be able to see what's happening

Is microdash needed for the first two combos ? or they just not land on everyone

If you hit the electric at tip range the dash is required in some scenarios, but other than that it should not whiff to much without the dash!

I cant wrap my head around the second section of the first combos. After SSR > dash: 3 > 1 > forward > forward > down-foward > 3 > 2 > 4. The problem is, after forward, forward he does this little dash animation out of 3, 1. However, my down-forward 3 never catches the opponent. any help?

Are you sure you are sidestepping right enough? The df+3,2,4 will only connect if the opponent is slightly off axis to the right hence why we sidestep right before it Can you record you doing the combo and send it to me on discord?

Tekken has a huge buffer window. Just buffer/mash the jab as soon as u can and it should.connect

Yes I forgot to add it but you can electric or b+2,3 if you are in heat and heat dash for a full combo either! Just use one of the electric combos on this after the ws+3 :)

Welcome to tekken, you need to sidestep right for the ender of df+3,2,4 to hit. If you don't sidestep right it won't connect The hitbox on certain moves will hit if the character is slightly off axis and we can do this by sidestepping right for df+3,2,4 Let me know if you need further explanation!

Are you sure you are sidestepping right before you input the 3,1,f,f? The df+3,2,4 will only hit when the opponent is off axis to the right a little

This wouldn't be the most optimal combo off ws+2, it's more a combo mishima players like to do to show off by doing multiple electrics in a row! I added the strongest ws+2 combo in the pinned comment if you want to try that? Also what's KB? 😅

@@bakerstreet7050 Ah yes keyboard 😅 ah the combos will come to you during a game with just a little bit of practice, it was the same for me when I first started! As for doing electrics on the keyboard faster is just a matter of practice, I play on stick but keyboard/hitbox is probably the most accurate controller for tekken regarding inputs and speed...a little bit of practice and you will have it in no time! Search on youtube a tutorial for doing electrics on a hitbox and you will see what other people use for their technique, you would be able to apply the same technique to a keyboard!

I assume you are referring to the ones that use heat dash? In general you should only use heat dash in a combo when you know you can finish the round with that combo. It's better to use the heat outside of combos unless you are in a situation where you can end the round with it in a combo

I don't know why I can successfully execute combo moves with SSR on the left side, but no matter how I try, I can't connect them on the right side. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
