Problem is CD2 is a high so most people are good enough to simply duck it. So Jin really doesn’t have much momentum at all now so long as people know his mid game at range is really weak now. I’m hoping it’ll make it easier to land CD1s, but the damage for CD1 max damage combo has been nerfed to an insane degree. The best combo I had off CD1 was 119 damage, now that same combo does 104, a 15 damage nerf. And this combo required using a just frame -13 on block mid launcher, heat, rage, counter hit, and a wall bound to make that happen, now with the same tools and combo it’s just 104 damage, meanwhile every other character can get way past that, Kazuya could near death combo you with those tools. Nerf seems pretty undeserved when it comes to the damage portion.
@@dylaroo24 The OP wasn't referring to CD2, but FF2 out of CD. You can do the first F in FF2 by holding F after CD. Gives you more range/realignment for FF2

Back in the Tekken 1, 2 and 3 days, we played Tekken to have fun and trying to get better in the game on a "healthy" level..... Nowadays Garyu's are talking that certain characters are unfair, need to be nerfed and that the new patches ruining their characters... All lack of knowledge and not appriciating a good fight. They rather have an easy win and spam the same strings over n over again.... Man I feel old...💀
Bruh💀 the buffs that Kazuya got is consistency 💀💀💀 he can do combos and punishes that would 60% of the time whiff... It's like people want his arms and legs ripped off.
Jin has been nerfed way more than some people realise. That damage nerf now makes one his most risky but highest damage combos do 15 less damage for no real reason. I have a video on my channel showcasing CD1 into CD2 combo that did 119 damage. For Jin he is using a 15 frame, just frame, that is -13 on block, needs counter hit, heat, rage, and a wall bound to do 119 damage. Meanwhile Kazuya has been able to do near death combos off a +5 on block high launcher and given the same tools. Now with the nerfs, that same combo does 104 damage despite requiring a 15 frame, -13 on block just frame, mid launcher. That’s a nerf of 15 damage… I don’t see how you can really justify that heavy of a nerf to one his best combos that really isn’t even that high damage when you compare it to other character’s combos given the same tools. Demon paw needed to be nerfed, I’m all onboard on that, but the damage nerf doesn’t make sense to me. I might make a video going over this soon. Until then I’d be curious to know what people think about how badly my combo has been nerfed.
Yeah it's weird how people don't notice damage nerfs. Jin damage is significantly lower now due to beat burst nerfs and ff2 whiffing in combos. Also hellsweep is bottom 1 in class now since it doesn't give oki anymore lol

Bro that’s awful, it already was one of the worst hellsweeps since it’s always been 4 frames slower, add it’s lack of utility only being good for oki and floor breaks, and it’s clear it wasn’t great compared to other hellsweeps. Now without oki that’s even worse. Adding that with this combo I mentioned getting nerfed by 15 damage! It’s crazy! Used to do 119 damage, now does 104! Despite requiring a 15 frame, just frame, -13 on block, counter hit, mid launcher, followed by a just frame CD2, while having heat, rage, and needing a wall bound. Now with all that you only get 104 damage… Meanwhile Kazuya could death combo you with that… Makes no sense to me…
@@dylaroo24 hellsweep is unchanged but the main threat of it was 50/50 between d2 and ff2. Ff2 no longer properly reaches there so you are stuck with b2 lol
@@tabkg5802 I found out wall bounds have been nerfed as well. That's where 5 of the 15 damage from my combo went. Just posted video about it on my channel.
He techrolled so it clipped him. Also u can see kazuya sidestepping the heat burst later. Plus he is using cd 1+2 a lot and as u can see it has no pushback anymore. 100% after the patch
Bro as a Kazuya main y'all should be grateful df1,4 is a punish not a move you use in the open, it wall splat far away from the wall, ff2 nerf isn't a big deal, it still has pushback
Dude be grateful for these buffs. His B2,2,1+2 has higher chances of wall splatting, 1+4 is a useful move and we literally got a Plus on block move! That's some good buffs.
@@cosmik411it’s slow and linear, it’ll be situational at best. Kazuya was fixed, his actual buffs are minor af and he got nerfs as well. Jin is still much, much better.
@dantemundus I understand that and I'm not arguing that Jin isn't better. Just pointing out that it's not just better hitboxes that they gave him. I know he's not great, but I think Kazuya is fun af to play I'm just happy they made him more consistent
@@cosmik411 I agree it’s great that he’s now consistent, but I can’t help but feel cheated given they named him, Paul and Raven as three characters that would be getting buffed - Paul got buffed, kazuya got some fixes. Characters they didn’t name, like king and Bryan, got buffed way more than kazuya. It’s pretty disgusting that the dev team won’t actually give Kazuya any significant buffs, and it took them this long to fix some of the stuff that didn’t work with him.
@@mr.soystein7849 hmm devilster’s title infuriated me quite a bit, because the nerf of jin also applies to kazuya, yet the title makes it seem like jin got some big nerfs.
I don't even know. His demon paw range was changed from INSANE to still pretty good. The Heat Burst nerf actually benefits him because he can parry it on a hard read and launch.

Cd3 in heat is +6, cd1+2 +5, b2,2,1+2 consistent and go for wall travel, cd4,4 safe on block, df1 hitbox better than T7 you can staple 3 EWGF into micro dash df1 easily, Kazuya can also now punish slides with ws1+2 so now he can have 52 dmg from punishing a slide, df1 hits Xiaoyu AOP duck which is crazy, and most importantly df1,4 into ff4 into amazing oki, df1,4 can also wall splat from far away. The hype about Kazuya buffs is deserved
