Justice and Kliff Undersn have been dead for a lot longer, there have been entire plots to resurrect the former and it hasn’t happened by this point so it probably won’t ever
At this point I'm starting to think it's just for fun rather than actual hatred. The whole series could have been avoided if one of them just brought a knife and took the others head after they won.
@@Rantam1nah, they literally said that it’s a resurrection. So doesn’t matter how one dies. If they’re an important characters, they will certainly come back
Heihachi has been: 1. Thrown off a cliff 2. Blown up by a huge explosion 3. Thrown into a VOLCANO 4. Been hit by THE RAGING DEMON 5. (Possibly) had his heart stop when Kazuya punched him 6. Been buried alive 7. Is around 80 years old and doing all of this he just refuses to die and I love it
Jinpachi even survived when heihachi trapped him in the underground for a long time before his body is taken over,so yeah these Mishima is harder to kill
@@OfOurLifeFun Fact: Yoshimitsu isn't an Alien, he's a cyborg whose lineage goes way back to 13th Century Japan with the Manji Ninjutsu Clan. His sword contains the evil spirit of each Yoshimitsu before him, and it hungers for evil energy, but is kept under control by the current Yoshimitsu.

Seriously, this is just bad writing at this point. EDIT: As some people have pointed out, they should've just added him without the plot. Or maybe excuse it with a Clone of Heihachi. Or make one of his children look like him.
Valcano: Hay, he tossed you in too don't be mad at me you should have finished him with your own two hands, that's what you trained for, went all demonic to do. No, you hand the job off like your company always does.
@@alfalldoot6715 definitely heihachi, this is like his third or fourth retconned death and he's back like nothing happened while m.bison's comeback is his 2nd(?) retconned death which also got him amnesia
Heihachi was there in Tekken 1 back in 1994, JUST IMAGINE ALL THE MEMORIES🥹🥹, many people want him to come back, You cant just killed off some truly iconic characters and then expect some random newcomers to fill the void they had left if you put some newcomers to fill the void , not only they doesnt close the void, hell, the void grows even larger, until the legend themselves come back to fill the void
When do you think people die? When they are shot through the heart by the bullet of a pistol? No. When they are ravaged by an incurable disease? No. When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom!? No! It’s when… they are forgotten.
Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation, repent of your sins and get saved! John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
I have a theory. i think this Heihachi is a clone. think about it, Cloning is real in the tekken universe (and so does other wacky stuff too) like Steve Fox is a clone of Nina williams, and he looks younger judging by his hair being black, plus he said "I am Heihachi Mishima" like his trying to prove something. maybe he's fighting against other "fake" heihachis i don't know. so who's to say that Heihachi didn't plan to take his own dna to clone himself if things goes south. but this could be proven wrong.
2 questions: 1)Who's Nana Williams? 2)And also if hes going to clone himself, why place his clone in the same age he "died?" There's a young Heihachi after all.
Or that mask monk could be his sibling or half sibling. Just like those huge two statues fujin and raijin represent some brothers rivalry. They might have created a new character that can equally match heihachi.
The problem is that you can see that Haihachi has a punch mark right where Kaziya punched him. How did the clone get the wound if that clone never fought Kazuya?
Have you thought about Lidia at all? Because I see that people don't know anything about Lidia's history. We know from Tekken 7 that Lidia got an invitation from Heihachi Mishima to take part in fights. So either this story in Tekken 8 will be before or after, and this will be their next meeting. So why are you betting in advance that he is back alive?
As a famous RU-vidr said in his Tekken story retrospective “Heihachi Mishima is dead, and if you think he’s never coming back, you weren’t really paying attention.”
That would be actually great! For me he's one of the best Tekken bosses. And it could be a version with his base form from Tag2 and you could change form to T5 demon boss form
@@NateDdragonno not everyone, clearly not everyone. The people taking the story seriously perhaps. But theres no taking any Tekken story seriously, it NEVER took itself seriously, its always absurd and baddass for the sake of being absurd and badass next game probably will have either Kazuya or Jin smh get the devil powers back because f it it just happened
WHAT!! I never thought this would happen. "Heihachi Mishima is dead," Katsuhiro Harada's words recently with Tekken 8's original release. "Me, die? The Mishimas are invincible." Heihachi's words from Tekken 5. I guess if he can survive being thrown off a cliff (twice if you count Blood Vengeance), getting tossed miles away by an explosion (twice), I guess he could theoretically survive being thrown into lava. I can't wait to hear your story this time, Heihachi.
We really can't blame Raven on this one. We could understand Tekken 5 as he could have escaped far enough the the explosion threw him a distance and he was knocked out. But in Tekken 7, he was THROWN into an already ACTIVE Volcano. What was Raven to do, go in and take his pulse? lol
You know if Harada didn't say Heihachi was "Completely Dead" nobody would even call this bad writing or even be baffled by Heihachi being alive. He's survived supposedly fatal occasions at least twice prior to this in Tekken 5 and kinda in Tekken 1. Getting tossed into a volcano by a family member is a Mishima vacation tradition.
PLEASE. I know he was disliked in Tekken 7 for his gameplay but Akuma brings SO MUCH to the story. With him involved, it now becomes canon that Heihachi is one of the strongest fighters to ever EXIST.
@@bladekokiri He brought nothing to the story. He could have been a Jack-7 unit or even a halucination for all that he did. Was supposed to kill Heihachi (and Kazumi asking nicely was apparently the motivation), waited for no good reason, failed, disappeared, tried to kill Kazuya, failed, disappeared, tried again when Kazuya was even stronger, failed, disappeared.
@@kdlsimondistefan47 In the case of Mortal Kombat I have to agree. Those characters absolutely die. They are just literally resurrected from the dead or abducted from another Timeline.
Causes of Fighting Game Boss Resurrections: Rugal: Destruction of Verse in KOF14 Shao Kahn: Timeline alteration, currently known as General Shao Bison: Unknown, may involve Psycho Power and/or cloning.
You guys didn't notice the red moon when Reina says "It's almost time"?. The same moon from her rage art which features Heihachi and is from her T8 ending, I'm guessing she performed some sort of ritual to Dark Resurrection him (with means of her devil powers) which is why she was so focused on awakening it. Another thing: Did people forget in story mode Claudio asked Zafina "Are we sure that Kazuya Mishima is the one that will truly bring destruction to the world?" Implying that someone else likely would.
Raven: what! you died in that explosion Reina: how did you survive father Jin: how many times did I have to teach you a lesson old man Kazuya: I threw you into the volcano Heihachi: I have returned
M. Bison's return was not surprising to me. He can transfer his soul into another body should his current one be used up or destroyed. He even appeared in Falke's story as Phantom Bison after the main story "A Shadow Falls" in Street Fighter V finished. As for Heihachi Mishima, his return was unexpected. Geez. The volcano had one job to destroy Heihachi Mishima's body and somehow he returned much like "Somehow Palpatine Returned".
It's funny, I posted a gameplay video on the Tekken 8 demo some months ago, and had a short discussion with someone about the possibility of Heihachi still being alive. They reminded me that Katsuhiro Harada even "confirmed" Heihachi was dead. I responded with, _"Nobody ever really stays dead in gaming"_ . And here we are.
I always did say he would be a secret character on release or likely a season 1 dlc character , but the final one. Weird how he was number 3 (unless the last 1 has larger story implications) I assume the final character is A.king or a guest character.
@@frank8917 Reina and Kuma would say “Welcome back, father!” But yeah, Lee would react the same way he did in Tekken 5. Lars wouldn’t be too thrilled either.
