For me it's the win pose that does it. Something about seeing Jack's visor going up and him showing his actual eyes simply feels as the cherry on the top for this pure badassery fest.
As a casual Tekken fan who remembers being a small kid at arcades button mashing on Tekken with friends, family, and strangers alike. Seeing these characters all these years later full of life and q community of love makes me feel like a piece of my childhood is still alive.
has anybody else noticed that the sound design team for T8 has gone absolutely bananas and are having a field day with the game? The impacts of every punch and kick feel so POWERFUL due to the amazing sound design. You can make anything look cool visually, but without proper sounds behind them, it doesn't matter what you do. T8 Sound Design Team deserve a kiss on their lips
It's a bit unusual but I bet I'll get accostumed to it. I used to hate the classic sounds that they've used for almost 20 years from Tekken 3 until today, and with these trailers now I somehow miss it ahaha, stoopid brain.
He looks more robotic and also more human at the same time. His facial expression, his eyes. More expressive than ever before. He seemed more human Tekken 1, 2 3 and Tag 1. Like they combined the old with the new but better! Well done Namco!
Hell yeah dude, it's definitely worked on me, he looks AWESOME! Honestly everyone with a trailer so far actually feels so crisp and fresh that I'm warming up to the guys I wasn't previously a fan of, like Paul flashing big smiles and now Jack's GLOW-UP!
Inspired and it shows. Looks like an incredible game and historically, Tekken has just gotten better with every new version as far as PS consoles have gone. Been playing this game since the first Tekken hit the original Playstation. Still inspired to play.
The camera work for their special attacks it's insane. And the sound designer weren't messing around making each attack feel lethal. Can't wait to see tournaments for this game.
the original sound effect are iconic. I'm impressed the new sound effect are also good. People were complaining about the new mechanic but I feel like high level gameplay will be even more fun to watch
@@mruniverse9500 Agree dude. I really hope that's not a default we can't turn off. It feels more like a bad Marvel movie and less like a fighting game if it's all like that.
what I think I love most about this look is that he feels more like a threat, that the jack units have been upgraded to such a level that I picture them as powerful as something like adam smasher from cyberpunk, this fit is SO aggressive and I love it
@@fezzy5591 it absolutely feels more grounded and sinister in a way, whereas growing up I always associated the jack models or heihachi for some reason, maybe the goofy side of him in mostly non-canon instances reminded me of how jack was sorta funny looking as a child. now, with kazuya clearly being the Big Bad that the jacks match his new levels of malice. :D
me too , i remember watching the intro for tekken 1 saying "man i cant wait for the graphics to look like this" now if the graphics looked like the intro to tekken 1 id say "this is terrible get this the hell away from me."
I love how characters now have way more "character" to them. They look way less similar in their gameplay plan, at least in trailers. Hopefully that's gonna be the case in the game. Great stuff so far.
The graphics in general and the sensation when hitting are incredible. They are so good that sometimes it's a little weird that the interaction with the ground is zero. There are zero physics there... it reminds me of when the characters of the old psx resident evil games rotated on themselves while turning lol
Not only Jack-8 improved his fighting style and weapons but also his emotions looks more human than any other previous games. Well done Bandai Namco! I cant wait to play Tekken 8!
Okay, not only is this probably the BEST Jack design to DATE, but that Rage Art was absolutely BONKERS!! The Tekken team really stepped their game up!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
To me though, a robot dressed in a knight's armor seems like the designer is insecure about its toughness. Like, why? If your robot seems tough enough to tackle all sorts of fighters, why bother giving it extra armor?
I've never cared for Jack, but he looks damn good here. His Rage Art looks dope, the way even he flies back from the power and that bad ass victory pose at the end, kudos Tekken Team, every character trailer has been AMAZING.
yeah,so far for me the rages arts ranked are Lars Kazuya Jack 8 King Jin Law Paul Nina so far I like each one for their own differences and uniqueness,I hope bandai can keep delivering
Jack looks hella dope! Love the new voice too, sounds like a beast. He has to have one of my favorite T8 rage arts thus far. Love the inside the rail gun view and how over the top it is. Also RIP to Gigas.
This version of jack has to be the most intimidating jack. Like he's no longer a goofy robot man. This jack looks like a ruthless warrior. His new voice clips make him sound like a savage. On another note, this is the first Tekken game where there's a ton of more battle grunts from characters.
From a Main Story Mode Point each Fighter will have limited Screen time and Chapters. And just like 6 & 7 there will be some odd Interactive moments/quick time events squeezed into the game. For side stories the usual rundown is at least one Match per Fighter with lore/humor. (I'm looking at you Over the Shoulder Rail Shooting Sequence From Tekken 7.)
Okay, after seeing all the trailers until today, now Tekken 8 gameplay trailers has become one of my most awaited videos on YT for every weekend...they really are showing an excellent movement and amazing quality
Amazing Jack-8. Improving in each game with the moveset. Now his voice and face is more advanced, with features more similar from a human than from a robot. Absolutely awesome work, Bandai Namco
Dude, the sound design in this game is insane. Jack looks pretty sick, & all we need is Jun's reveal now. Hopefully her trailer or the one after that gives us a date. Either way, I'm ready!!
There might be more reveals after this one like polar bear Kuma, red version of Yoshimitsu, Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, Heihachi II, everyone else Steve, Panda all that good stuff
@Redm1st I mean, it's kind of all but confirmed. She was revealed in the first trailer of the game. 🤷♂️ I guess you could argue that she could only make a story-mode appearance. But, Kazumi wasn't technically a part of the current events of Tekken 7, yet she was still playable. So, the dots are basically connecting themselves at this point.
Yea....he for lazy players....that spaming over power moves and that rage art gonna save them , depends on they playing against a well experience player.....😒🍵
Tekken 8 they really took it to another level. It's like those days when we play COD 1,2,3 on PS2 suddenly COD4MW 2007 came out with advance graphics details.
Jack 8s fighting style out of every character up to now has upgraded the most some of proto jack and alisa and has speed most importantly can't wait to see kuma :D
@@shanewhite4816 Nah he has a stance, he's talking about that buff pose thing he did a handful of times throughout the trailer. It looks like he has both defensive and offensive options from that stance.

Jack has always been my favorite character since the first game of tekken during my childhood, now his design looks like a badass and epic looking CAST from base PSO2 which makes me love him more!!
I don't play jack as much but they made him feel aggressive and fun to play in this trailer. I hope I will be able to enjoy playing all these characters in this new aggressive theme in tekken 8.
I loved the grunts he makes it feels like he's a human being with a mechanical voice props for them they really upgrade everything it's gonna be hype when relaese
I like his older voice by a slight margin tbh. Robots, especially ones used for combat could do themselves good if they're as inhuman as possible. The fact that his voice sounded like it came out of a speaker still is a cool concept for me atleast. Possibly also meant the russians spent their development funds where it counted the most, lethality.
Jack has some NICE linkers, now! Definitely much more combo-centric this time around with mixups! I know Jack always had some nice little combos, but I don't know, they seem more effective this time around. And man, when the visor came up it just made me want to see a classic Jack design without all the mechanized stuff. If I customize him in Tekken 8, I'm going with the classic design if I can do that. 😊
First edition of jack that truly makes me want to try him. With the games new impact effects it really does add weight back into the heavier characters. Those uppercuts look insane.
Jack is my second most played character and it's so much fun to pick apart what's new and what's the same after everyone else's trailers dropped already, that new stance looks sick as hell. Really hope to see Eddy soon because goddamn is he going to be a menace with heat.
Ever since I saw this character in Tekken 5, my favorite go to moves will always be the one where he can fly and then land on opponents' heads or the long shot bazooka. 😂
