Devilster is actually so cool for constantly showcasing these good players other than himself. He's not trying to brag about his skill, he's showing how fun Tekken is with these intense matches. Keep it up man, this Lars was fun to watch.
Dude literally has a channel for himself with his name. Not bragging my ass. Presenting yourself to public in any way (acting, singing, producing, directing, reporting, inventing, documenting, getting credited etc) is basically showing your confident side to the public and get acknowledged. The whole point of having a youtube channel is saying "here look at me! I'm good at this thing! Notice it!".
@@sandwich4916 I mean, it's just his gameplay with only matches that he deemed worthy of uploading. He's not putting himself on camera or whatever, so at least there's that. But I would assume that's because he's not fluent in english or comfortable with it enough to do that. And really there's no point, the videos alone are sufficient.
@@MuscaDom1 I haven't been watching much of anyone else apart Devilster and Mwkan 7 so I dunno if there's any development in the community's interest for Lars, but even the partially blind can say that the Lars in the video was definitely not playing well. I won't fault anyone for asking that question satirical or not tho cause not a lot of players use Lars and he wasn't really tournament viable in 7 cause he can't overpower anyone for shit no matter how good of a play they can do.
@@Serotophile Oh ok. I actually meant more like if there were good matchups against Jin in general, like other characters, not only Lars. And I actually thought this player did quite well I'm my opinion, I mean I was taking into consideration more their defense, I saw some good ducks and sidesteps, even if they weren't completely defining a good offense.
@@MuscaDom1 Very much agree, Lars was very good in defense, but there's 2 instances where Lars literally was awkwardly in a stand still, a jab could've been thrown at the very least but they only stood in expectance of Devilster's attack rather than making an attempt in attacking themselves. I have no opinion on any matchups but I think if it's Devilster he will make any matchup work with blind ruthlessness, not saying he has no strategy. I sum his play as "Punches are faster than thoughts, punch now then think after." Good talk bro ^=^
ggs man it was an honor to have fought a legend .. unfortunately it was like my 2nd match with lars in T8, could have done better if i had played with him a bit more before this match. glad i was able to get a round though ngl
Damn man I felt that shit so much during the beta I'm like why won't this shit work. I even used fb21 after launch. That's Tekken 6 stuff. Fucking hell why'd they take away his 4 bounding tho I really don't understand some changes. I also liked the df21 even though it was kind of a risk.
