Kazuya as always looking as a badass character. From going to a protagonist in the first game, to an antagonist in the next few games to being straight up a villain, one thing is for sure, Kazuya never disappoints us. Can't wait to play him in this game 😈🥋⚡🔥
Well the Point that He is a villain destroyed His character in my opinion. Kazuya Had a good sight and was corrupted by the Devil. You clearly See It in Tekken 4 and Tekken 5

kazuya is one of the scariest characters, you can feel the evil. the business badass man look suits him a lot and the coat with that reptile texture is cool
0:42 - I love that they've brought back Kaz's Tekken 1 and 2 "TWOH!" noise and modernised it with his older age. It's such a small touch but I appreciate it so much.
I love the fact that Kazuya looks older and the wrinkle textures in his face are absolutely beautiful and that the man can still throw down. And that they put a lot more love into his fighting style and made him more aggressive.
Look how old wang jinrei was… akuma mentioned heihachi was in his prime when they fought , kazuya has plenty years left… don’t forget he’s not exactly “human” either … devil gene plus mishima blood … who knows how long him and Jin can live . Specially if they decide to just stay in devil form all the time kazuya has shown he can manipulate that form , it’s already stated tekken 7 ending sequences that’s just another form of his he has more up his sleeve
@MisterImpolite they had the tekken characters almost never aging throughout the series and this game, they actually look like their actual age, like capcom is doing with SF6. This looks like the most aggressive that fits his power-hungry personality. I'm glad it shows how a lot he's changed he's not just a young clone of his father.
I wish they would do something like this for the female characters. All of them still look about 20. Like for crying out loud Jun looks like Jin's younger sister lol. I know there's lore reasons for Nina's appearance but it still feels cheap.
All us Kazuya mains should absolutely be satisfied with this, they did him justice here! He looks like a boss and his move set looks so good, can't wait for T8!
@@XAMAKA... yeah Kazuya was badass in T4 and to me that Kazuya is back with pure evil and no care. We only see the trailer yet. Imagine how cool he will be in the story mode. Kazuya being evil is what makes him himself.

I'm surprised no one points out how Kazuya says "pathetic" now. Back in Tekken 4 - 7, he always said it with a cocky tone, but now, in Tekken 8, he says it aggressively. He's truly becoming Heihachi
I'm assuming that Kazuya's Heat State is him in Devil Form. That's a really smart move for both the players and spectators! In Tekken 7 you barely see the Devil Form, now it's part of his kit and it's giving off some serious Final Boss Energy.
@@XAMAKA... But in Tekken 7 your only opportunity to use Devil mode is when you're basically one hit or combo away from death. And most players actively chose not to, for various reasons. That's not going to be the case in Tekken 8 since the Rage/Heat/Whatever shenanigans are tied to meter now and not exclusively life (if Kazuya's heat state is indeed him in Devil Form like OP said).
@S. O. N. N. Y X He can access it in rage but that means he is gonna have 25% hp or lower, meaning you only see the devil form for a few seconds. This is much better for spectators and much funnier to play
As a Kazuya main I'm very happy! His moveset has gotten majorly improved and it's so different! That RAGE art is sick! Easily one of the best! Now I wanna see what they did with Jin.

She has 1.5 million subscribers, she doesn't need Tekken basement dwellers as promotion for an already big channel, she's just commenting.
It's not exactly a rebuilt either, because Kazuya's voice lines are still being used from the past Tekken games. It's just his character model and animations only changed.
Obviously some of his war cry's are the same like "chiergh" lol..and "doriya" or the opening scene when he does CD3, forward 1 + 2, but for the most part there are new recordings from the same voice actor in this trailer, even his "Ana shini narada" at the end of the trailer is the same old line..yes..but newly re-recordes for T8..and he has had that line since T4.
I love how everyone's ult is pretty nice and simple, Jin's also kinda nice. And then Kazuya just obliterates you from existence xD It's just an overkill 😂
I actually love the visuals so much from this trailer, I really hope it looks just like this. Kazuya has an OTGF, Lazers in combos, electrics coming out of his legs - awesome.
10 to 16 year olds and child minded adults can NOT probably imagine it, but i wish TEKKEN would start doing *more REAL BATTLE* not this hitting a character and that character will fly into the air and then you start doing combos on them while the character still is in the air... It's so old and outdated and it has been in tekken since Tekken 1 . How about something new??? Not the same game play over and over again with slightly better graphics?

@@RegeneratinDegenerat Even if there was a new Soul Calibur, that has never stopped Yoshimitsu from appearing in Tekken. He'll be here, he just gets a dramatically different design for every game. Takes time to develop those assets.
I love how he doesn't look nearly as stiff and 'fighting game character-y' as he usually does. Every move looks more energetic and smooth, especially the hellsweeps and electrics. I dig it. Edit: Yo thanks for all the likes y'all:)
His transformation from series protagonist to series antagonist is complete now that he's learned some of Heihachi's moves. All I know is, someone's going off a cliff after this.
Probably forgave his father after realizing his mother tried to kill them both. Though sadly, he probably wishes to fight Heihachi again as he was the only one who gave him drive and purpose.
Smash did a great job making him popular in casuals like me, who pass from know him as "heihachi's son" to "that really complex character for a fighting game".

Really awesome that they put some Heihachi stuff in his movelist! For example, his 1,2,2 can be canceled just like Heihachi. This also has to be true since Jin ducked. Also, Heihachi UF4 is implemented in Kazuya’s hellsweep. Awesome stuff!! 🔥

I've only ever used Kazuya in most Tekkens when playing online along with a few other fighters, but pretty much nailed all Kazuya's combos and juggling streaks. He the goat.
I haven't seen this level of impact in every single punch since the debut of the original T5 on PS2. Kazuya looks amazing and the gameplay looks more fluid than ever.

Kazuya is back after defeating heihachi in tekken 7. with Heihachi now gone, Kazuya has finally taken control of the Mishima Zaibatsu now. he has now become the main Antagonist.
The first time I played Tekken 1, I chose Kazuya and he seemed like a great character. Now, as Steve main from T5, those desire to pick Kazuya returned. It's just that he looks amazing!.
In my case i started using him in tekken 4 and in tekken 5(but since i never learned his signature moves i always spammed the same common ones XD) just later in Tekken 7 i finally started to actually play him

Kazuya has some of Heihachi's moves in his arsenal in Tekken 8. The animation is just so clean i cannot even brag about why they didn't just release trailer for a new character (Anna,Yoshimitsu,Bryan, Xiaoyu,etc). It's just so good.
@@greatestnitemare6626 Tekken 7 was a copy of T5, T6, TTT, and TTT2. Nothing about it was new. Tekken 8 was built from the ground up with a brand new engine.
