Do you think you can judge Knee's gameplay? you think you know what he needs to do to get better? do you hear yourself? Knee is playing his main character because this is his last Tekken, this is why he he played Bryan in TWT as well. He knows more about this game than anyone else, he knows Bryan is the hardest character to play in this game, if he just wanted to win he would've been playing Feng but he is sticking with main because this is his last Tekken and he doesn't want to be remembered as the legend who tier hoed.
Has he actually said this? I haven’t seen it anywhere. Seems too egotistical for a global competitor to stand by character loyalty over winning a major with big money involved. Also, vod reviews like this also help us as players learn. It’s nice that he made a video dissecting the game plan from both players and what they could’ve done differently. Oz was not wrong with his heat burst assessment and the nature of the Tekken 8. Many of us are still playing it like Tekken 7 and we need to break out of that habit.
Brother, this aint tekken 7. This is a new game. Knee does not know more than everyone else about tekken 8. I love knee but videos like these show why he isnt winning. (which isnt an issue because the game has been out for 5 months!) Just because someone is better than you mechanically doesn't mean you are immune to match analysis. You are drinking copium.

I've realised growing up is seeing every individual think they're better and make smarter moves than you. Key word being "think" it's true knee maybe could have tried more but he was trying to avoid being launched. Victor is op as hell and will be nerfed for sure. The Main said it as well. Victor is the definition of tekkan 8. He's the new gen tekkan and Bryan is the old traditional tekkan
@@Superfoodcookie You do realize that execution and strategy are two different things. And you need both to be a god like Knee. However he is lacking in both recently. Maybe because he is too saturated to care anymore. A third person view can certainly be helpful. By your logic, chanel can never coach mid set to knee?
I'm a believer that you can learn something from anyone whether they are more experienced than you or less experienced than you. keeping an open mind to criticism will always be helpful because it will help challenge your beliefs and even change your perspective on certain situations.
I think you’re so right in your analysis. The irony is Knee is playing way too safe and doing fast jabs and pokes like df+1, but he gets cooked by the pressure. He needs to press back and put on his own pressure. You can’t defend in Tekken 8 and win. You will die if all you do is block all day. Offense is the best defense!

Fatigue is also a factor too, especially if you are sent to the loser's bracket. I also think Tekken 8 can wear you out more over a long duration compared to Tekken 7.
The problem with Bryan is that those of his powerful, rangy moves are all quite slow, while in the critical frame ranges (15-17f) his moves totally suck. Most other characters have a very strong launcher at 15-17 frames, and many even have a fast counter move at 12-13 frames. He has none of these. First off, he doesn't have a regular df2 uppercut at his 15-frame, but only got a "df111" series, which has a maximum of 35 damage and requires visual confirmation (if you do multiple "1"s and get blocked, there will be a 10-frame punishment, and a good opponent can always catch it, so you can only do a single "df1" and visually confirm whether it hits, but that requires a very high reaction ability, very very difficult). And not to mention the range of this move is extremely short. And his 16-frame launcher is f3, which is very, very short, can be used only when close to the opponent. And although it's +/-0 frame on block, I wouldn't say it's a good move. His 3+4 is pretty strong, but it takes 18 frames to launch. At the distance where he can use 3+4, in many cases his opponents can already use their 15-frame uppercuts. He's no match for the speed. The newly added qcb1 is very rangy and has good reward, but its launching frame is not the theoretical "13 frames" that the system tells us, because this does not include the frames of rolling the qcb directions. If this is included, it will take at least 16-17 frames to launch. And Bryan also got his 43 (or 4 -- but it is too difficult to connect and not realistic for ordinary players. Although 43 has a 10-frame punishment, it is better than nothing) scrapped in T8, which used to be a great and fast counter move in T7. This further increases his defects in his tools of faster moves.
What’s crazy is Knee rarely uses armor, heat, or rage art. He really does need to add some scrub play to his game. He has no unga bunga but that’s Tekken 8! He fights like Rocky Balboa who wins by taking an ass beating until his opponent wears down. He needs to learn some first strike Tekken!
This game is stupid, its boring its not for skilled players and its so far from tekken. Before anyone jumps and say im a hater, i play tekken since tekken 3 played them all except the tag.
@@blahblahgdp its not bad for the game to be a bit faster than 7 but the mechanics is garbage, everyone can hit a button and go overdrive with heat burst then heat smash then another mixup, that total shit game design, tekken used to be about outsmarting your opponent and be skillful now everyone can beat knee even if u have a little bit knowledge of tekken
