I like how the final fight seems to assume the player has watched the original premiere trailer, since the music and the fight itself slightly subvert your expectations. Probably the best fighting game story mode experience ever
Seeing Kaz just start wavedashing out of nowhere for the first time scared the absolute shit outta me. Here I am thinking "I got this in the bag" only for Last Stand to start playing and him to start shmoving on me 😅
@@eckhardtbernard Totally. All biases and fanboyisms aside, it's just the coolest story mode ever. A classic hero's tale combined with absolutely kick ass music.
I like how...dirty this track represented here. After all the devil and angel and biblical anime fighting, its just down to two humans and their fists and somebody was not going home that day by end of it. Reminds me of Guren Lagan.
Had my first match on Fallen Destiny yesterday against a Kazuya player and this song started blasting. Most epic experience I've had in a fighting game for sure!
You know what? Same. Tekken 8 brought me back to my childhood. The amount of times I’ve let out happy tears while playing through the story mode was at the same level happiness I felt when I played DMC5 back in 2019. Following a series for years only to release a main entry that hits on every cord gets me emotional in the best way possible.
@@awakenow7147I personally agree with you! This song right here sucked me in because I was starting Tekken for the first time and I knew it was gonna be a fun journey for me.
I love how the name for the stages are actually the name of the place like urban square, Ortiz farm, rebel hangar, etc. and this one is just called Fallen Destiny. I imagine the next dlc stages would be name like Crippling Depression, Existential Crisis, Amicable Spirit and whatever intangible concept that can double as an edgy Rock album title.
What I hear in this song: Dearest one (scratch 5x), why you don't tell me? You know I don't grab it, tell me who... Tell me who you've been trying to be... My³ turn, that's the end. I know this feeling. The taste of freedom. Adrenaline flow, (something) This new world. This new sensation. Is good, good, good! I cannot (something) (2x) Aaaaaaaaaaaah (5x)
I save this track for the most difficult part of any workout I do and I keep shouting DORYAH whenever I do a rep. It motivates me more than any other song
Bandai and Harada ditching that angel vs Devil shit to give us the true final battle between human Jin and human Kazuya is literally what makes Tekken Tekken. To me, Tekken represents real life MMA; you are locked in an arena with another human and you only have your limbs to defend yourself and win. I love how primal and realistic Tekken can be
@@fireembliam9090 i appreciate the kind words, it would definitely be a good session!! I enjoy all the people I have in my classes, its a blessing. Im in U.S. michigan, but no matter where you are keep going beyond over and over, not just in workouts but life🥊
This kind of music is what i missed in Tekken 7. Don't get me wrong, T7 has good music, it just feels oversaturated with 1 genre to me. Tekken 8 has way more variety now.
Yeah...most of T7 music was great, and this is from someone who rarely likes EDM/dubstep. The problem is that it leaned too much in that industrial dubstep style for most of the tracks, unlike T8.
Bruh. Play this song with any rivalry/feud from a fighting game. It somehow fits. Ryu VS Ken Kyo VS Iori Goku VS Vegeta Sol Badguy VS Ky Kiste Ragna VS Jin Liu Kang VS Shang Tsung Or hell any rivalry/feud from any video game. That being said, Jin VS Kazuya was an amazing fun fight in story mode overall.
You can't tell me this isn't Keiki Kobayashi's work...that riff is something straight out of Ace Combat Assault Horizon lol I'm not even a huge tekken fan but I'm always there for their soundtracks lol
Rio Hamamoto _is_ a prominent composer for Assault Horizon, with him being the guy behind notable tracks like Beyond the Canal, White Devil and Naval Warfare... so you're not exactly wrong.
I’m a newcomer to this series, I beat Kazuya on medium difficulty yesterday and he was absolutely brutal to beat with all of his super armor, unblockable moves, and of course the wave dashing and insane strings That being said, man, what a great fight
