The ending fights was incredible. Even the throwback to the credits song from Tekken 1 got me a bit emotional. It's been 28-29 years since Tekken 2 ended with that very song. Can't believe i have fought with Jin Kazama for freaking 27 years ...........
Tekken is absolutely awesome, admittedly I only played Tekken really intensively two years ago. I had already played Tekken 6 back then, but that was a rather short phase, but I played Tekken against my father every day and developed a real hype about it It's nice that Tekken 8 is so good, many other games come onto the market unfinished
This feels like a final push, while 1st sounds like a unavoidable defeat. I'm thinking in the story mode 1st will play as Kaz throws Jin around during their final encounter but 2nd will start as Jin stands back up, fists raised and ready for the next battle. 0:56 has major "plummeting towards earth" vibes. Into the Stratosphere will play a huge role in the story, I'm sure. Oh also, P.S. The stages have confirmed names for their songs now, with Into the Stratosphere's being called "Volcanic Bomb 1st and 2nd", might want to update the title.
That may be the case, since according to Tekken 8 Trophy List, there are two achievements called "Hope" and "Despair", if you finished Chapter 15 of The Dark Awakens with a victory of Jin or Kazuya, respectively. It could be like you said, or there will be two different endings, just like it was in Injustice 2 and Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath.
