My favourite thing about this track is that it uses a sidechain compressor effect that was popularised by French EDM. That big dip and rise after every kick is a very intentional detail.

Victor Chevalier looks like a member of the Prydwen Institution from Counter:side. I'd love to see Elizabeth Pendragon (VA Saori Hayami) as guest character in T8 (surely Arslan will love play as her).
I always felt like after dark resurrection they phoned it in with the music in Tekken. It was the odd decent track here and there, but the older Tekkens were peak.
T8's soundtrack is exactly what I wanted from 7 It just feels so much less obnoxious than most of t7's ost and I can actually enjoy the beats Dont get me wrong, t7 had a few bangers (lonesome, like you mentioned), but I havent heard a bad t8 song outside of the original character select😂
I just know that when this stage appears during an online match, I'm not gonna be able to resist the urge to dance in my chair. The opponent can take the free win 😂😂😂
This has gotta be, not only the single best track I think I have ever heard in a Tekken game, but it is now easily one of my favorite tracks in a video game of all time!
This is a spritual compliment to Kitsch (Tekken 4 OST) where that was set on a beach in Brazil, This is set on the Seine River in France . First round of this and Kitsch are similarly keyed.

@@RickyUltra well technically round 2 plays the same track as round 1, it’s when you get to the final round or the match point round that it transitions to the alternate track. Like in Tekken 7.
Definitely my favorite stage and music of the game without a doubt; it even topped Yakushima and Arena for me. I'm a big fan of jazz and EDM so it helps haha.
I am Steve player and I play on this stage mostly and the last round my fingers on pad controller is almost dancing I feel so hype with last round track. 🥊
