As he moves up, he fights more vets, dropping his rank. So he really is a real-time skill check, that tends to settle right in the middle point between noobs and vets.

btw the easiest way to beat him is block the first two hits and immediately do a hopkick into a combo and then after theyre on the floor you just keep low parrying into combo over and over. this is cuz on the floor because he is mashing 3, he will always do a low getup kick
Eddie-1-button is literally just the litmus test to figure out if ranked players figured out the Block button. This man's doing a service. It's like watching years of Soul Calibur Maxi gameplay in miniature.
Crazy how many people think that this way you can win all matches but in reality it works the first few ranks then if you really have been playing Tekken you know that spamming from certain ranks will make you lose
Haha, it reminds me of the first time on ps1. Eddy was broken his combo was almost impossible to avoid😂 my friends hated him so much as how easy-to-use he was
When you lose against this you are a true beginner or don't understand the game. There are so many option selects in Tekken. -Side stepping -Power crush -High crush -Low Crush -Back dash -jab interrupt -evasive attacks Many options have 0 skill floor. You can just press it and even if you read your opponent wrong the risk reward is on your side most of the time especially when you use hop kicks
