I think the scaling doesn't apply when the opponent is backturned. The highest damage combos in that sequence from Steve was when the opponent was turned around at the time of the spring kick.

@@haziqtheunique There is no scaling on standing opponents at all, doesn’t matter if they’re back turned (that’s why CH D/F2 PEWGF does so much damage). The back turn just lets him get that long sequence while they’re still standing.

Was a thing in Tekken 7 as well! The wallsplat is angle dependent though sometimes the opponent will miss the wall

Most characters don’t get anything particularly cool off of this. The majority of them will, at most, get a wall splat/wall break into a normal combo like Lee.

Combo drop into switch side maybe?
