100% Miguel. Especially after what he said in his 7 ending where he wouldn't try to kill Jin if he doesn't have anything to live for. Well now bro's got an alliance AND his mother, so this would be the perfect time to bring him back.
I want my main Miguel back man. He is a goddamn damage bully in gameplay, a bit lack in speed, but dear god the pokes, the punish and the damage is insane, plus he is easy and fun to play.
@@Skeksi_ManStory wise, if Miguel would have a bit of a mini arc for a aftermath dlc chapters, maybe Azucena would pair up with Miguel as a companion. Tho initially he would be a bit annoyed by Azucena's happy-go-lucky dancing along with some offering her delicious coffee or whatnot, I feel like Azu if she noticed Miguel being downed due to the death of her sister, she would probably cheer him up a little, comforting his pain for his beloved sister. I dunno, that's just my idea.

As a massive Lei fan, I'm overjoyed to hear Lei getting the respect he deserves. I wont hear out a single person anymore who says that Lei wont make it to Tekken 8 because "muh nobody played him!" If Shaheen made it to the base roster in Tekken 8, Lei's coming back
If we do get Lei back we need to all make sure we use him, and encourage others to do the same so we can prevent him continually getting left out…. I think the only reason for his lack of usage is because players are intimidated to try him due to the complexity of the character. It takes a long time to master Lei but I fully intend to try should he return…
@@Skeksi_Man Oh yeah, I literally made an extensive moveset Bible for myself when learning Lei in Tekken 7, so I'll make an extensive guide on how to play Lei in Tekken 8 if it gets more people to enjoy him

@@harrybeauberry3222 Tekken is like a soap opera, everyone dies and comes back to life. Technically Kazuya is dead but was brought back to life by G-corp. Heihachi “died” like 3 times.

Anna MUST come back I just cannot wait to see how much more her move set can get and differ from Nina's as this game reworks characters move sets to the next level giving them more personality through the use of weapons and special spells (??) Miguel is also one of my top picks. They treat him too seriously, but he's wacky and have fun during combat. You can tell we he jumps that little "woohoo!" shout that he does
Yeah I love Miguel’s eccentricities, and his whole story as a violent troubled individual who lost the only person in the world that he cared about. I find myself really invested in seeing him get his closure… Mishimas are A-Holes and Jin deserves to pay for his past actions regardless of him now being the protagonist… Ive always preferred Anna over nina in terms of her move set and personality… truly the better sister
@@Skeksi_Man I really want a Death by degrees 2 with proper and working game mechanics. They need to flesh out Nina: she's supposed to be a badass assassin, that's why everyone wants her as a bodyguard, but my poor girl never seems to get a win since Tekken 5: bloodline rebellion - Anna got her, Tekken 7 - hehachi got her ass and she stayed by his side without any word on the matter AND lee blowed up the building and she got kicked out of the story, in the anime XIAOYU defeated her... Like, come on!! At least they made clear she's an independent, empowered woman that will choose who to work with independently of the pass, but she can have more deep than that for what moves her Anna not being in the main roster... Well, that's a clear insult when Tekken 8 is so much related to Tekken 6 where she was a big part as Kazuya's bodyguard... But oh well. She'll have her spotlight, I'm sure

Definitely agree, that’s one of the things that annoyed me most about DLC characters in Tekken 7 - They literally had no canon link to the story and were just plonked there as an afterthought. I’m hoping in Tekken 8 they actually get some added story relevance.
I think Wang deserves another chance in the Tekken roster, he's the only character left wanting to turn the Mishima zaibatsu into something good for Jinpachi besides Wang I also think Baek deserves another chance due to him being replaced by Hwoarang in Tekken 3 and onwards, would be cool to see him interact with Law again But I think Julia and Kunimitsu deserve a spot because it would be interesting to see Michelle's daughter fight against Kunimitsu's daughter knowing their rivalry in Tekken 1

miguel is my 2nd favourite character in all of tekken so I'm biased but more than anything, I think he would've been a perfect fit in the tekken 8 story mode which was basically "jin's redemption story". better than shaheen and leo for sure. but I gotta say I don't want characters added for the sake of it. I want to see how their stories developed. I like eddy but more than his inclusion I wanna know if he made amends with christie. I wanna see if anna williams is still out for revenge against nina or if she will (re)connect with steve who nina wants nothing do do with. I wanna have some explanation for what happened with armor king and marduk. it's a shame that king's backstory in tekken 8 is completely ignored. what about baek? if he died, mention it in hwoarang's prologue. guest characters like noctis and negan can be non-canon and that's fine. but everyone else deserves to be mentioned, even if it's just a throwaway line saying they died or retired. don't act like they never existed
100 percent agree with this - The returning characters need a canon storyline, and reason for returning. It feels a bit disrespectful and somewhat of an afterthought when they just add them for the sake of it with no impact on the story.

Thanks man, I’m thinking of making a top 5s and top 10s playlist for the channel as I’ve done a couple now and they are really fun to make…. I have a blast editing them and giving my thoughts. But yeah Josie is an interesting one - I really don’t like anything about the character infact I outright dislike her personality & overall look. But I do quite like the move set and hybrid kick-boxing fighting style.. she kind of blends a bit of Muay Thai with regular kick-boxing which is quite unique. I’d be open to seeing her return if they just made her personality less annoying and perhaps gave her a more serious fighter look…
I honestly think it was missed opportunity to have both Fahkumram and Lidia where missing in base roaster. Since their story are closely tied to their respective countries. Fakumrah being forced to fight for his country and Lidia being proud patriot.
As much as I prefer Bruce over Fahkumram, I can't help but somewhat agree with you here on both sentiments. Hell, it would've been brilliant to see them all in the base roster, especially Bruce, because he's Kazuya's right-hand man.
