I feel like he gave up after he couldn't secure the first game Edit: nvm, watching it the second time he tried what he could, just the orbital combos were off, sometimes his timing was predictable and Knee was just too ready with the throwbreaks.

I feel like throws are a big part of Dragunov's kit and when they get broken it makes it really hard to get damage off, especially against characters with fast recovery so he doesn't even get the chance to whiffpunish. The Steve pick is kinda genius from Knee. Even making sure to almost nullify his WR2 with constant jab and b1 checks.

@@GloryBlazer theres nothing genius about steve's pick. Its top 3 best characters and its what knee uses most of the time alongside paul. He was gonna go with either paul or steve and he went with the CH monster steve, the better pick against such a weak character as dragunov. They really should not have nerfed dragunov's 3,1 sway cancel. Other characters get the same wall carry as dragunov now but with staple combos that do more damage and also fakhurmom. Same goes for the kazuya's tracking hellsweep. All other characters have tracking hellsweeps but kazuya now. Hope for season 4 they give lee a good low and make his b3,3 pick ups easier as online they are a pain in the ass. Also his magic 4 should let him do a 4,uf3 combo afterwards. Dragunov needs a strong, big damage knockdown or +4/5 low, maybe a d,db,b 3 or while crouching low like heihachi's kick, after a d2..

Knee was just playing better. After the first match knee was low parrying nobis lows. Nothing he could do. Maybe would be a different story if nobi got the first game.

He had every tools and characters to utillize and win, but those freakin stubborn steve pick, and did it again to monsterlike ulsan like cmon, i was facepalming hard knee couldve won or at least had better result to an already astonishing one.
