Did you check the temperature of the motor after the run, the car looks to be running great but I’d be concerned the 4000kv motor on 3S would get too hot.
At outside temperatures of 0 degrees, it didn't really matter. But the G2 combo is also installed and the controller would turn off if the engine ran too hot and that never happened once. In the meantime I have also installed a Rocket fan and the temperatures remain within limits. Let's wait and see what happens in midsummer at 30 degrees and above. 😊
Are you running the hobbywing sensored motor? I have a 410.3 and thinking of using same esc/motor combo. How is the speed on 2s with your setup? Any idea of top speed.
I have not yet tested it with 2s. But with 3s it will feel like it's doing 75 to 80 kmp. With 2s, you might have to install a larger motor pinion. But it will certainly be fun in the 410.3. :)
Does it feel better than the .3,or have you tried them both? I had the original platform,and the .3 ,and idk if it was me or what,but the original drives great,and was seemingly more planted to the ground.
This is my first short course truck from Tekno, so unfortunately I can't answer that for you. I can only tell you that it drives the best of all the short course trucks I have or have had. Slash, Senton6s, Mojave4s, HPI Jumpshot v2... UDR is a different caliber and not comparable to the Tekno as it is a completely different car in my eyes because of the rigid rear axle. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.
