amzn.to/3N5BNGw Tekton extensions amzn.to/3N857Mu Koken ratchet. I am a particpant of the amazon associates program and receive a small fee when you buy a product through my direct amazon link at no additional cost to you.
Depending on where you live, they do have their stuff in some retail stores. But, it usually takes 3 or 4 days to get anything I've ordered from their website.
@@ironclaw6969 Thanks for the response. I am aware of the website, but have not found a retail location. I will continue to look. Thanks again for the response.
Oooh. Been looking for some locking extensions. Thanks for the review of these, Jeff. We finally got power back on since 1:30 Friday morning. Needless to say, the wife is happy now.
I've been running mine on my impacts and they hold up really really well. I really like Tekton. The best part about those locking extensions is that no matter what size socket you use, the locking mechanism never sticks out more than the socket. Its either the same size or smaller that whatever socket you put on them, which doesnt make it too bulky. They do a really great job with their tools. I would consider them upper end mid level. In my opinion, these are hands down the best Taiwanese made locking extensions on the market. I beat the snot out of them too and they take every bit of it lol. You just can't beat their warranty either. I dont like how tekton said that to you man. They didn't have to be rude.
Victor i bought these because of you!!! and your rite there really nice!!! yea Tekton only wants big channels, not dinky ones like mine, lol!! oh well will just keep at it!!
I really like Tekton. Started off with a few sockets to slowly adding more and more to my box. They have a super easy warranty process, too. I'll have to add these to my list!
Hey Jeff, I really like Tekton tools. I do not have very many but the few i have i really like. The quality is good and the finish is nice. Thank you for the video.
Your videos are great because they're not about Snap On style brands that only a few can afford. Sure there are a few tools are undoubtedly better by high end brands, but these are great because they show good or bad quality on tools most people can afford. I've already bought a couple tools you've reviewed.
Hi joe they sold out at the price i gave, there skyhigh now!! id go through Tekton website!! that happens alot,i do a review and they sell out on amazon or the price goes up!!!
@@jefftovani5535 yessir! That's what gave me confidence to try some things. My "worst" and that's just from a comfort side is the high torque screwdrivers aren't comfortable in hand. The hard handles feel great!
I've got a set of snap on 3/8" locking wobble extensions. They are top notch. There is not a better set. That being said, they are not cheap. I want some 1/2" locking extensions. Maybe I will give Tekton a shot. I like all the Tekton tools I already own.
I need to stop watching your channel. I already bought the blue flex Matco Eighty8 that I didn't win and I've been eyeballing the Mountain long flex wrenches and now I've realized I need a set of these, too!
I keep 2 kinds of extensions, locking and wobble. I'm also not a big fan of having the socket come off the end of the extension and getting lost in the engine bay never to be seen again. The best part is the pricing on those, They barely cost more than the standard extensions do. And the best part is that Tekton offers a very consistent quality to practically all of their tools and the simplest warranty process I've ever come across.. They've really turned around in the last few years much like Harbor Freight did with their higher end stuff. If I'm looking for a hand tool, their website is usually one of my first stops.
@@jefftovani5535 It seems like a really nice ratchet but I haven't had any reason to use it yet. I guess I should be glad, but coming up I'll at least need to do oil change, air filter, coolant testing and all of that normal fall maintenance so that maybe I don't end up having to do repairs out in the winter.
I RECOMMEND THESE ,,,,,,,,,,,, I HAVE THIS VERY SET . I BEEN USING THEM WITH MILWAUKEE IMPACTS AND THEY WORK GREAT . I ALSO TRIED THE GEAR WRENCH LOCKING EXTENSIONS YOU CAN USE THE GEAR WRENCH BUT NOT WITH IMPACTING WRENCHES !!!!!!!!!!!
I've got those in my save for later list on Amazon. I've only got a cheap Pittsburgh Pro 3/8 set right now, I've only been using them until I got a chance to upgrade.
Haven’t used mine much yet the only thing I have noticed is my old craftsman 1/4 sockets from the late 60’s early 70’s won’t lock up. Everything else works fine
Have to say, I'm a Tekton fan though I don't have a ton of their stuff. What I do have is excellent. It's hard to watch videos from others from a couple years ago hearing what they paid and what the cost is now. Gotta love inflation (Let's go Brandon). Another excellent review!!
@@jefftovani5535 I need a lot more! I only have a couple locking extensions, a 1/4” Stahlwille (with a matching locking T-handle and locking spinner handle) and an older Craftsman USA 1/2”, but most of my ratchets are QR.
Hello again, Jeff Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I enjoyed watching tonight's video. I have never pulled the trigger on buying a set of locking extensions. Have I dropped parts and tools, you bet. Jeff. Have you checked out or compare other locking extensions. I need to know more of what is out there for comparison. H $27.00 for the Tekton set is a great price. Again thank you 👌
I got the 1/4" dr 3", 6" and the 11" wasn't available at the time. Recently got the 11" and the 3/8" set. Now, I am hoping for either impact locking or wonble plus locking as Snap On are just too damn expensive
Hi ron thats a good point!! i should of mentioned that!! being chrome i figured guys shoud no that there not impact rated!! but like you said, somebody will!!! thanks ron!!!
I've never used a locking extension before but I've dang sure spent some time looking for dropped sockets. Never fails that they end up between the oil pan and front crossmember. It may be time for some of these. Over the past year or so, I've become a big Tekton fan. I do have a question for you. I know you get a tiny commission when something you link is purchased through a link. Im 100% for this, since it helps you and the channel My question is do you still get that if you use the link but buy a different item? As an example, I may want to buy just the 6" extension to try it out instead of the set. Does that still help you?
Yes bob,if you go through my link,no matter what you buy i get a small comission!!!!! great question!! thank you bob for supporting the channel, much appreciated!!
@@jefftovani5535 That's good to know. If Jeff Bezos is going to make a dollar or him get 95 cents and you get a nickel, of course I want a part of my money, even though it's a tiny fraction, to go to a man, roughly my age, roughly my financial state, with the same interests as me, and that provides me with un-biased information, advice, and entertainment.
That sort of tone makes me not want to give Tekton any attention. Lol Also, I really don’t like the GW locking extensions. Lol That Koken looks like a refined version of the classic Proto design.
Taiwan made with dollar store prices and you don't have enough subscribers 🤦 what a bunch of Jag offs pretty soon Jeff there people can call your people 👍😎👍
I was going to get these but decided on their wobbles im buying tekton and icon while im in school. I like tekton. Have a look at their crowsfeet. theyre super nice similar finish to their ratchet wrenches.
