Were the central communal gardens never created under the Geddes Plan? Please tell me why the newest area of Tel Aviv beyond Sarona seems to be just large buildings which don't acknowledge or even recognize the other in any meaningful way....placed on wide car oriented asphalt streets with little room for pedestrians or true inviting public spaces...Has it actually been planned at all..or do the different municipalities in the area Givatayim, Ramat Gan, just do whatever the developers want..what should be a Central Park is the Ayalon..one of the ugliest freeways I have ever witnessed. Can they not underground it...do the Regional Planning Authorities have any control? It seems like a huge missed opportunity.
