Tela had one of the best albums of all time with Piece of Mind which I still jam to this day...Classic Album 🔥 which some people wouldn't understand if you're not from the south and grew up in that era
Man that Piece of Mind album is one of my favorite albums of all time...I still listen to that album right to this day...I was upset when him and Suave parted ways
@@julbri7105 P alone had multi platinum albums in the late 90s. His album first quarter didn't sell but was on repeat in the NO n rixhmond he made good music now can't take that away frm em
God bless the dead but “Plmp” was never the same after “P” beat on his body. Pimp was mad and was putting everybody on blast! Brilliant! Cheers mates!!
Nigga stop lying it was not p it was the nigga that was married to Mia X and he take what pimp was saying as diss the whole no limit crew he found out what hotel room he was in and got him by his self with some behind the scenes no limit members are just some homies from the hood that's what happen
@@rasetitalleyboy6294 It was Hot Boy Jimmy who Pistol Whipped Pimp..Jimmy didn't like Pimp C... Jimmy is Master P Older Cousin who got him in the game & allways talk about like on his song " Anything Goes" Mack 10 in the I'm Bout It movie played Jimmy & In the Movie " " "Last Don" Jimmy was the High Yella dude with Snoop in the Club who later P shot in the back of his Range Rover after finding out Jimmy had a wire on.. Jimmy in Real Life was a Wild one " They say I'm Bad News like my Big Cousin Jimmy" - C Murder "Staring at the Walls
Piece Of Mind, The World Ain't Enuff and Double Dose are STILL in heavy rotation in my ride and on the phone. Tela's flow on those albums was some serious game. Hope he get with Jazze and T-Mix to make some more of them classics!
I think if Pimp C really wanted to retaliate he would have. Pimp C was close to J Prince who is connected and J Prince did not co sign the situation and Master P lived in Houston at the time. In fact this situation is the reason why he left the south around that time period and eventually by 2001 or so lost his rap credibility. He moved to LA, started producing Lil Romeo and got super corny. If anything Pimp C just felt betrayed because Master P went that far all because Pimp wanted to own the masters to a song that he helped create and literally produce. Pimp helped make the beat and all.
I’m fully convinced that master P is the realest cat in hip hop. What he says he’s gonna do he does it and he’s not afraid of anyone and will bang for what he believes in.
He's the realest because he wouldn't share royalties with Pimp and then beat Pimp's ass when Pimp didn't like it? Nah, what's real is making sure your brother gets paid handsomely as well
@@robertlancey1102 what royalties? I miss my homies is the biggest song they have together master p doesn’t even own the royalties to that song. It was a sample from a song by the O’Jays and If I’m not mistaken he got sued. and UGK put him and silk on their album before Master p dropped the ghetto d UGK was already big before P and no limit even came out they co-signed them. And put them on their playas from the south album which got them more fans. Master P owns his label which is under a parent company but he don’t own all his royalties especially since most of his songs were sampled. Pimp didn’t need P.. P needed pimp just like he went to J Prince for advice before he started no limit. which is how he even got to work with Pimp and bun. (Im a fan of no limit btw) but it wasn’t about what you stated in your comment
@@Tashaaanderson806Break em Off is the royalties he wanted off Ice Cream Man, Pimp C produced alot of stuff fot them from Playaz from the South and other songs.
Gotta respect P, he came with the gloves not guns. Pimp C was man enough to take it. That's what real men do. I'm sure if Pimp C was still here he and P would be the best of friends that's how life works.
What it do Homie?? It's been 25 years since I saw this Brother!! One of the truest toughest rappers alive! Most underrated ever Good seeing you again Bro Remember them great nights at Magic City with Pimp Red, Tyler Craig and the crew?? Stay up Homie
I said speakin bout it .. it’s a difference between speaking on it and speakin about it P and Pimp spoke ON IT and left it ALONE ... men don’t speak about other MENS business the only right answer would be I WASNT THERE THATS BETWEEN THEM TWO MEN!! Only a NUTLESS MAN would speak on another MANS BUSINESS ... PERIOD!!!
From pine bluff AR ..... they have spoke about it .. pimp said they tried to kidnap him but him and p talked it out cause p didnt really wanna do shit to him he was basically just checking pimp about what he said . Master p has said this recently also
Shiiiit, No Limit in its heyday had people dirt napped in New Orleans. They even checked CMR in the city a few times in 98'. They showed up at a Pastor Troy concert in Atlanta after that No Play in GA track and beat the fuk outta him after they ran him off the stage. C even putta gun in his mouth. Then to throw salt in that wound, C-Murder shot the video for "Down for my Niggaz" in Pastor Troy's own hood in ATL and challenged PT to show up on a radio interview, Then P had Troys entire contract with Universal dropped, Lawwwd. Pimp C got off light....that's why he never officially released that No Limit diss song officially, it leaked years later after his death. Money=Power and P had the most, and did the most with his label than any other Southern record company...second to CMR, also from New Orleans.
I remember the day Pimp C got out of jail big Tigger and Rap City were there with Bun B and Pimp openly said "Holla at me P" Tigger asked him to elaborate and mention "I just made some bad decisions and I want my boy to holla at me." Guessing they squashed it.
Actually pimp c felt some way about P blowing up bigger than them after he did them tracks for them and they got more recognition for them, and at a show he said fuck master P
P called Pimp C mama and she had him on speaker phone and P was cursing at her. Pimp C homeboy over heard the conversation and told Pimp what him heard. Thats how the beef started between the two of them. Mama Wes talked about it in an interview. But they squash the beef when Pimp got out of prison.
Damn I grew up on all this music man I'm old ass hell. I was like 5 or 6 yrs old when this man dropped sho nuff. 🤣 🤣 🤣 Everybody had his tapes CDs were too expensive. They had so many music stores back then you would see a CD that was selling for 30$. Music was expensive back then. Even cassette tapes was running 10-15$ depending on who it was.
Yeah when UGK was on Rap City in Port Arthur Tx RU-vid Master P vs C Murder towards the end of the video it's that Rap City episode where UGK was on Rap City and Pimp C shouted out Master P and said Free C Murder we about to get back to the $$$ RIP Pimp C
@@chiquonnat1117 cuz master p weak he knew pimp c that's y pimp c was down for his momma, pimp was outspoken like 2pac hatas don't like that I tried it my self (ur life defines you by what u say) if you a g u a G if not then your labeled a different title. Yea P had souljas but for 1 man it wasn't right. Peep all the diss tracks from pimp c 2 masterp✌🏽🎶
I would bet my bottom dollar on two things about this fight. One, Pimp C was probably fucked up and caught off guard when they fought and two, Master P was sober and knew he was going over there to fight.
