No space suit could protect you from Venus, we wouldn’t ever be able to go there without drastically altering it with advanced tech, the atmosphere is corrosive and hot enough to melt lead, the pressure is also much to high and would crush you, there is no way and no how we would step foot on Venus how it is, the one landing craft they sent there melted

Is that true? Im pretty sure the atmosphere and greenhouse effect would make it the same temperature.

There was a probe called "Venus Express" and they let it plunge into Venus to retrieve as much data as it could, and one of the things it found was that high in the atmosphere above the poles, at around 80 miles up, is extremely cold. Part of the reason for that is because of Venus lack of axial tilt, which is at only like 3%. Basically, it doesn't tilt very much towards or away from the sun like Earth or Mars does, so the temperatures become very stratified, being the hottest at the equator, and progressively cooler towards the poles. However, because of Venus' very thick atmosphere, the temperatures throughout the globe are relatively the same. The exception being very high up in the atmosphere, at the poles, where the planet would receive way less sunlight and the air would be much thinner, and that's precisely where they found the cold region. It's also very frigid at the poles of Mercury. Anyhow, search "Venus Express cold poles" and you should find some articles on it

Hi... Can you please explain the "see your back via 3 mirrors"... I tried to google but didn't get any good lead. Are the front ones at an angle and the back one exactly behind? Apologies if I'm sounding stupid but I love physics and I'm curious.

@@sanchitd31 Actually what I meant was the rays of the sun, on the surface of Venus, undergo many turns so if you just stand there (even without mirror) the only thing you'll be able to see is your back... (Sorry, my apologies, I didn't knew how to explain it properly) It's just like (*) 🚶.> ^ . 🟠 . \/ .< The thing you'll see at (*) is you own back It's little difficult explaining here... But I hope this helps... And no it's not stupid... I too love physics and am damn curious about things like this

I read that too about Venus’s atmosphere being so thick that it bends light so much that if we were simply standing on its surface (anywhere on Venus), looking straight ahead, we would not be able to see what truly was directly in front of us, but rather, would strangely be able to see the back of our own head. I read another article, also, that said we wouldn’t see the back of our head, but rather it would oddly appear as if we were standing in a deep, permanent hole or pit due to the immense refraction of the sun’s rays.
