Hello i have just ordered a 10 inch dobsonian and I have a phone with dedicated astrophotography mode which removes star trailing and I am able to take 4 minute exposure without a telescope will I still be able to get long exposure with the telescope attached?

@Ara Ara thanks for watching. When you attach the phone to your scope it will amazingly capture great detail. You will have to adjust the settings to get the correct exposures. It is important to center the lens with the eyepiece, it is most important. This will take some time to get it right, but don't give up until you get the best picture you can. Good luck.

@G G Hello! Thanks for watching. Yes, I have tried this method. It's takes a lot of time to get the images aligned (no tracking). With the noise in these photos is too much to see a good enough shot.
