I just got mine today, i took it out of the box, i charged it, and the face tracking does not work, the only thing that works is the left/right button for 360 pan. I bought this for the auto tracking feature. now i have to hire a person to do the auto pan. so after i am done with my production, the total should come out to $1,000 for the cost of hiring a person to do what the product should do , so i will bill the Telesin company for reimbursement.
I have been using this today while working out in the yard, works great ,BUT< the camera mic picks up the hummm when it pans, every time. ordered a remote mic for my camera and that should eliminate that problem, getting the mic off the unit should remove the vibration from the panning unit.
Thank you for making this video and testing on mirrorless and compact cameras, but it didn't say for mirrorless in the website advertisement, but it looks like it could handle a compact camera just fine, but I'm afraid it couldn't handle interchangeable rangefinder bodies like Fujifilm XA or EOS M because even without the lens, small mirrorless can weight 300 gram or more, ZV-1 weight 294 gram and already include the lens, but yeah, it's cheapest compared to other gimbals out there.
How long do you hold? Went 30 seconds, nothing. Doesn't matter if you can shoot 120 fps or higher. You can let it zip around real quick and slow it down in post.
Hello, tha ks for the video. And, I'm wondering if you have a recomendation for a good flexible tripod. I'm using the tracking telesin that comes with light, cellular mount and tripod (ball head is week), so when tracking and stops just shakes (maybe due the weight of the lights) so the video doesn't look good. Any flexible tripod with the quality sturdy? I have seen reviews about the new jody 3k and 5k and it looks like they broke fast. Any recommendation? Thanks
Telesin Smart Auto tracker is not even worthy for the price. The footage jitters due to its crappy movement. I returned the product just because it's waste of time. Their motion tracking works fine but we can't control the speed of rotation. Thus it's not useful for a passionate content creator. I hope you will share its cons too, rather than misguiding your viewers.
actually we are not misguiding anyone. We say that this could be useful for those that are using it for things like zoom calls. We give examples in the video of how it stutters. So how are we misguiding anyone?
