It's amazing that today, a Gopro, can replace most of the equipment we see here in 1953. I am certain most of the wizardry shown here has been miniaturized into computers now. Still it's fascinating to see how it was done in the day. Today, anyone can do a production with very little equipment.
Having been there in 1986, it's great to see the facility when it was new and shiny. Murrow mistakenly refers to studio 33 as studio 43 at the 11:25 mark. Studio 33 is the home of Price Is Right, and was the home of the Carol Burnett Show as well. It's the only studio that still has an audience pit at Television City. Studios 41 and 43 are the long-time home of "Y&R".
Someone oughta tell the uploader that there's no such word as "broadcasted." The past, present and future tenses are all "broadcast." Should be easy to remember since the spelling is exactly the same.
