I can never get enough of mel. Glad she's still singing away. Loved her as part of the spice girls and fell in love with her even more with northern star. She's worked so hard since ❤
Wow. That song has been sung by so many amazing performers over the years. Well done Mel C such an amazing performance and an absolutely fitting tribute. Floods of tears here.
She is amazing but my word his voice is phenomenal, how he compliments her voice with his, the level of control in belt and softness just brought this song to life for me
Mel C is such an under appreciated artist. Most Americans don’t know she still makes music. IMO she runs circles around Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, & the majority of American pop stars. The only American pop star I truly like is Taylor Swift. Lady Gaga has good songs but she’s boring now. She’s not a pop star anymore. Now she sells makeup & sings jazz music. Taylor Swift is the only American pop star that can rival Mel C. None of the other American pop stars come close to Mel C imo
Nice job but Petula Clark perform this song best of all when she gave her fantastic performance on Broadway in Blood Brothers with the Cassidy Brothers
Emotionless version of a song that is too big for her. She was the shortest serving Mrs J in Blood Brothers. The variety show should have had one of the proper Mrs J doing it- Lynne Paul or Niki Evans
Mel C got an Olivier Award best actress in musical nomination as Mrs Johnstone...she rightfully deserved to perform there. Many were moved by her performance, she's the right person to give tribute to her friend Bill Kenwright
@@whoiam4428 you do know that any west end performer can be nominated for a fee right? Or levy, as they call it. It boosts publicity for a show. I know of some Olivier winners and nominees that are actually really not that great!
I thought kiki Dee was the Best.. Mel C had no stage presence as MRS J and not a stage performer lacking in key and vocals . Just my humble opinion ...
That must be an unpopular opinion bc I read so many positive reviews on her performance. Also in 2010, she got an Olivier Award nomination for playing Mrs Johnstone.
I never saw Mel C on stage in Blood Brothers, just this tribute (which is amazing in its own right and as a tribute). My Mrs Johnstone was Lyn Paul in the late 90's London version, but I think a favourite is (at least a little bit) down to your first time seeing the show etc. Petula Clarke, Barbara Dickinson, and Kiki Dee were all amazing.
The voice is very good and high. There's always a show, there are many hits song and always invited to sing, then no presence, lack of key and vocals? Are you making me laugh? You're a great singer, teach Melanie how to sing properly like you. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😏
