Fantastic music to play at St. Patrick's day! Everyone is Irish on St. Paddy's Day! Yay! Greetings from Ormstown, Québec Canada 🇨🇦 to all Irish people and people who will be Irish on St. Paddy's 🇮🇪😘
As an Proud English lad lucky enough to attend The Cheltenham Racing Festival every year I can honestly say this song makes the visit worth every penny , every time they play it in The Best Mate Enclosure I get up on the table to sing along and every year I get an almighty bollocking from security 😂😂😂😂 Love you always " Shamrock " ❤❤
I have a routine on Friday afternoons...watch this video and the one of the Stavros father/son from Britain's Got Talent..just gets my weekend off to a great start. Both are priceless.
Love this tune! Love the video that accompanies it too! I love Irish and Scottish folk music! I've heard variants of this song before, including one variant from The Babysitters with Lee Hayes and Alan Arkin. My dad also used to sing a similar variant of this tune. The first musical phrase resembles the tune "Go 'round and 'round the village" a little. I also love watching all those fabulous dancers in the video! Thanks for posting it!
Great job! I don't know how you got the dance steps so well coordinated with the music. I broke out laughing when it got to the clip of the man and his son who got such a great audience reaction on Britain's Got Talent a couple of years ago.
Too be honest this is another great cheesy party song lol rarely hear it on the radio if it does come up on a radio turn that radio volume right up and start head banging and dancing lol
M888ARK Mark There are so many IRISH people in Buffalo, NY the Bars are open till 4am. That Buffalo called SNOW CAPITAL OF USA. Its true we get 10-12 feet every winter
Hi can someone please tell me were to find the 2nd bit of dance in this, its the one with the girl dancing and some man playing a banjo they are at 0:30 to 0:44 thank you.
Great compilation! Really enjoyed the quality too. You should do one with the girl that John mentioned. If you can find her let us know. We put together music videos for our bar chain in the '70's and '80's and this is the kind of thing the patrons loved. Kudos.
People were dancing to this song at the Palatka Blue Crab Festival that we attended yesterday..Great food..Crab cakes as big as your face..25th annual Blue Crab festival..A lot of fun
I used to do Irish dancing for a few years trust me you gotta dance with your arms by your side or on your hips or joint and there's a lot more to learn
Tara Grace I just love Irish dancing, our city has a big ST Patrick Day Parade, I live Buffalo,NY so sometimes its still cold. IM Proud to be IRISH AMERICAN. Ive heard OGRADY is a popular name in Ireland. My mom maiden name was Kelly. I feel bad for mom 6 kids all boys. It is true Buffalo gets 10-12 feet of snow most winters from Lake Erie. I like a 4 season city, even if summer is only 3 months. Its cool having Canada as a Neighbor, & Niagara Falls close. Niagara River that leads to the Falls is Dangerous the water flows at 30mph. The Coast Guard does a great job keeping people safe from the Lake & the Falls.
To slipjiggs. Some of it was Irish most of it was clogging but all were keeping the musical beat. I know there is a difference but is all fun. Relax my friend, It's supposed to make you happy not critical. Don't suppose you'd be interested in knowing that clog dancing originated from Irish folk dancing would ya.
Bonsoir suis un grand fanne de sham rock ... ils ont fait très peux de cd ou peux t'on trouver tous leurs morceaux see you claude salutations depuis la suisse
The video clips of the dancers appear to be in great sync with the rhythms of the tune. (The singer doesn't fit, unfortunately.) But overall - very nicely done!! I love this tune!!
Hi Terry...great video to support a great rendition by Sham Rock of an old favourite. The clog dancing does go well with it. Any idea where the clip of the girl dancing at 0.30secs came from?
The Life of Jay They say on ST PATRICKS DAY everyone is IRISH. Its ashame lots of people think all IRISH are Drunks. And even today REDHEADS get bullied, some people think our Freckles are Bug Bites. I think IRISH are Special born with Red Hair & Freckles
I think it would be really great if you credited the sources from which you lifted this material. It does violate copyrights, and doesn't promote them if you don't name them.
