The whole group is called NCT. It has 21 members. There are currently 4 sub groups (units). NCT 127 has 9 members. 127 is the longitude of Seoul, where the they are based. NCT DREAM has 6 members under 20 years old. They are the youngest in NCT. NCT U is unique as it is a flexible unit who's line up changes according to the song. WAYV is the Chinese unit of NCT has 7 members. It has a different name due to the complexities of China - Korea relations.

Also nct is divided Into four groups and this is the youngest group. Nct 127 is a permanent group but dream changes when the members age. These ppl are ages 17-19 and debuted when they were 14-16. Then we have nct u which means united and it has ppl from many countries like China or Canada. Lastly is nct China also known as wayv which formed this year. Nct means neo culture technology which basically means that they have a different type of concept where there is not a permanent group of members like bts. The only stable group in nct is nct 127

NCT is group under SM Entertainment, the same company that produced EXO, Red Velvet, Super Junior, Girls Generation, etc. NCT itself stands for 'Neo Culture Technology' which have the concept of unlimited members. Right now I'm writing this, they have 21 members currently. They're divided into sub units which is: 1. NCT 127 called '127' because its the longitude of Seoul, the city where kpop born. is the permanent group, with fixed number of members. currently have 9 members active 2. NCT Dream is group for the teen members of NCT. use to have 7 members but one of them (Mark) recently graduated because he reach the legal age and no longer teenager which makes the group currently have 6 members active. those who already graduate will join other units. there'll be someone graduate or new member added later on. 3. WayV (NCT China unit) is the china based unit, mostly promoted in china. currently have 7 members active. new members will be added maybe later on. 4. NCT U this group is the rotational groups based on the genre of the songs. basically whoever fits the genre can join this or that song regardless the unit they're in. so there'll be different number of members in each song. 5. NCT 2018 now this is obviously made in 2018, where every member from every unit participate in this. but this made when there's total 18 members currently so there MAYBE will make another unit for this year current members (21) so i hope you understand a little bit 😅 if you don't, you can check out those guide on NCT videos, maybe it'll help more better 😊
