I believe that black people being coddled is too strong. The only way we will evolve to what you are talking about is when resources become so scarce that all the strong people who are willing to work and contribute to the community will survive while the ones don't don't want to work fall by the wayside. There was a time when civilization was a community of folks who each member had a job to do to serve the community and for that they get to be a part of the community. Nowadays, we say that even the guy that has four kids by three women and staying with his parents at 35 years of age with no job is no only allowed to eat dinner but is entitled to the same benefits as the man that has work his butt off from the age of 16 years old and pay all his bills and is a law abiding citizen and never been told thank you! This is the society that we are in.
