I remember last year on the pod when you were saying you were gonna have a Fourth of July baby i geeked because I had just found out I was pregnant and expecting on July 23rd (she came the 19th) but I was so excited to be pregnant with you… cut to now and I am so stoked for you! Motherhood is such a beautiful blessing and I’ve been so grateful for the ability to be present and just so damn happy and I feel blessed literally every day! Even the really hard days are so rewarding when you’re finally getting to snuggle them to sleep! Ugh… your whole freakin world in your arms. Ahh hormones! Am crying! Lol congrats!!

Before I lost my pregnancy last year I cussed out a 70 year old asian woman I worked with because she almost lost the companys whole license by not obeying rules when inspectors were there in a dining facility. I said "how many effing times do we need to get in trouble for your actions." a couple weeks later found out i was pregnant and called my husband dry heaving asking if he was home and i was on my way home from work. We were wrapping up 10 years in the military active service at the time so I always live on a military base. We both needed new vehicles, our health insurance was no longer going to be free neither was our house. I lost the baby once I got excited about it. Honestly it took almost a year for me to even want to start tracking ovulation again. Now we own a home, have better jobs and vehicles and are trying again. The worst answer you can get is no regardless of what you are trying for

Lizzie, you explained it perfectly! Thats how I got pregnant with the test strips but with PCOS I had to use clomid as well. So we did 4 medicated cycles after a year and a half and a loss. I’m so so SO fricken happy for you. 💞 and I also want to say thank you for shedding light on how fuckin horrible getting pregnant can be. I appreciate you being open and honest about your story.

My first sign was the sore boobs and I was 4 days late. We tried like crazy for 4 months but wasn’t not trying before that. I stayed so sick for the first two months I had GD and had to go get fluids from the hospital because I couldn’t even keep water down. My daughter is now 17 months old. I’m sending all the love and happiness for you all and a safe journey 💕
Awe, I love this! I started shaking when I found out I was pregnant with my third - I had to do fertility meds for my second and third and my third was my IUI baby and then two days later they told me it wasn’t likely going to work, I had accepted a second full time job to get IVF coverage all without taking a test and then I realized I was 2 days late and took the test just to prove myself I wasn’t. Congrats!! There is nothing like that that first baby though, at home Doppler are really fun too! If I can find mine and you want it I’ll totally mail it to you.

I am sitting in a river of tears feeling both my own sorrow but sooo much Joy for you, Lizzie! It really hit me when you told your dad! My dad passed a year ago, he was my world, and I now have 3 angel babies in heaven with him. He was there to greet them! After 13yrs of trying hoping and praying for a baby, we just let go of the wheel for a long time. Then last Feb, feb 22nd at 6am I took a pregnancy test just to be sure as I was 2 days late on my period. It was blazing positive!! The joy was surreal! 2 days later I lost that pregnancy. We continued on as best we could. Come May I had spotting but no period, took another test feeling silly no way I could be pregnant a second time miraculously just 2 months later, but... positive!! We celebrated, shouted, cried it was all surreal. I started bleeding, a bit too much for comfort so we went to the ER, found out I was carrying TWINS! Our all time ultimate dream! The bleeding was a subchorionic hemorrhage, not harmful to babies or me, common and was put on pelvic rest. We made it to the end of the first trimester with many trips to the ER the hardest 3 months ever to lose our twins. Had surgery to clean my womb. I will never be able to shake the trauma that came from that loss. Being in the hospital feeling like someone had taken my soul from my body. We still remain hopeful, but its so beautiful for me to celebrate this beauty with other women! Congrats mama! 🎉

My 1st son's Bday is July 10th... he came out about a week late. I'm currently pregnant with our 2nd son due July 3rd! We had to do fertility treatments for our 2nd baby so I understand the negative tests. It's such a depressive punch in the face and heart. We went thru 2 miscarriages. Our 1st was on the exact date I wanted, I wanted a November baby so I could have a Halloween baby shower and be cute pregnant for Halloween. It wasn't meant to be, but I have another firecracker coming and I'm thrilled!! Ps. If you have money/ private health care you can get into a specialist sooner. Most specialist won't even see you till you've tried for a year. I think that's why so many people say that.

Congratulations!!!! My husband and I started trying in September 2023, and I’m currently 7.5 weeks!! I was tracking everything, and I was getting really upset that month after month I saw a negative result so I kind of forgot about it for January. And then my husband grazed my boob in bed and I screamed at him, remembered my period was late, and then just decided to take a test the next day just in case but I didn’t tell my husband because I didn’t have high hopes for a positive - and I took the test and sat back on the bed before it was done and then he came in and saw it first and told me to come look at it and I couldn’t move. January 28th was positive! I also have been experiencing severe nausea and food aversion, and the cramps every time I cough or sneeze and it’s not fun lol. My first ultrasound is in 2 days. I’m so excited for you and your husband!! Congratulations!!

Lizze! I tried for a year using special fertility friendly lube and one month I decided to just use water (we literally brought a cup of water into the bedroom) because I read that water helps sperm and doesn't make it slow down or anything. Got pregnant that month, I'm not 38 weeks pregnant!
